“The Healey Company are excellent contractors. They are dedicated to quality, completely transparent in their billing/process and are delightful to work with. Everyone from Michael Healey himself, through our project manager Christine and Jim, the foreman on the job were communicative, willing to answer questions and happy to listen to our ideas and concerns. I'm a designer and was very concerned about finding a contractor who would be as concerned about the details as I was and be willing to discuss options--they have absolutely been willing to do this. They've also been very understanding about our need to work within a budget and and more than willing to explore alternatives. And the sub-contractors that they work with have been equally as responsible and communicative. I can't recommend them highly enough and we will engage them for our next remodeling project!!”

“Prime 1 was the contractor for our 800 square foot addition. They worked closely with us and with our architect to design an addition that met our needs and fulfilled the vision we had in mind. One of our concerns was that the addition should match the period detail of the existing house, and they took every measure to ensure that such was the case. Our foreman was great. You would think he was building the project for himself, because he paid so much attention to every detail. He was always willing to work with us to make changes and listen to our concerns at every stage of the process. The crew was very conscientious and made every effort to minimize the disruption to our daily routine. Space was tight for delivery and staging of materials, but they managed to work within those limitations with little problem. Prime 1 was also willing to let us take on as much of the project as we wanted to do, and they worked with us at great length to keep within our budget. They inspired confidence in us, offering sound advice from experience, and making the venture an enjoyable experience. The finished product is beautiful, and it has been a pleasure to use our new space.”

I was able to see detailed pictures and notes on what to expect at each step and what was done each day. All the employees were respectful and kept my space clean and neat. “Our rental property sustained roof damage during high winds and rain earlier this month exposing the wood roof above an occupied townhome. A call was made to Holmes Build when the damage was discovered the next evening. The owner was at the property within an hour to assess the roof damage and securely tarp the exposed areas as more rain and wind was expected that evening. The repair and replacement of shingles was completed efficiently by 2 professionals with minimal disturbance to residents in the building and all damaged material was bagged and hauled away. We highly recommend Holmes Build, LLC .”

“I can't say enough good things about Steve Ott. But I can start with the most important thing - he is honest. In contrast to an industry that is infamous for dishonest people, Steve has always treated us with integrity. The best example of this is when we had a few issues emerge several weeks after the project was complete. Steve sent his team to resolve the issues in a timely manner at no cost to us. The next most important thing - the project was completed within the upper range of the original time estimate and within 15% of our original budget estimate (that includes unforeseen issues/expenses). Most people say their projects go WAY passed the timeline and WAY over budget. That's never been our experience with Steve (going back to my point about him being honest...he works really hard to get you the REAL price up front. He doesn't deflate the price to get the business and find a lot of "ad ons" throughout the project). Finally, Steve insists on quality. If something isn't done well, he will do it again. He did not like how the subcontractors installed our fireplace stone, so he personally came and laid the stone.”
