Luckily for us, we had heard of Alair through a friend and gave Carlos a call to come take a look at the work ahead and some extra renos we wanted done. From the first prompt meeting with Carlos, Jason and Marc we felt at ease, we knew they'd be working for and with us. They were professional, charismatic, and meant business, it was clear then that they love what they do. Throughout the process the attention to detail, the extra up and above calls and points of contact were impeccable. There were never any questions, Carlos was always on the same page as us or a step ahead. We always knew where our budget was at, and knew our timeline of what was getting done and when. S. had the fence built in 3 quick days. 1 day; a week later the finishing touches were done up, that was ok with me because B. B. S. Informed me of the time line he was running on. The job was completed very well done. The job site was cleaned up each day which I liked very much. Not giving the garbage a chance to blow away made me very happy. B. B. S. Did a fine job. Highly recommended. The price was under the quoted price as the size of fence was less size then quoted, which I was also happy to see. Billing was prompt, and he accepted all forms of payment. “We hired them to do a full renovation on the main floor. They were not pushy in getting us started on the project which I appreciated. We met with them a few times starting in Nov and did not sign the contract until March. Their allowances were spot on. All the trades people working for them were all very respectful and did a great job. They went above and beyond the scope of work set out for them, ex. the electricians changed all the plugs and switches to a more modern look, hooked up 2 extra lights... The cabinets are custom and the cabinet manager, Spencer Dick, was very conscientious about the work being done in his shop. The thing that sold me on Haven was having the design consultant, Donna Senterre, part of the project, I was lost at what goes together, it was overwhelming and that is why we had done nothing up til then. Donna Senterre was phenomenal! She helped in every aspect of the interior design. She was the go to person if we had any questions and helped pick out everything we needed for our home. She would go shopping with us and then understood what we liked and disliked. She was always there to help make the process painless. We absolutely love the job they did!! The only complaint I would have is the cleaning crew. After they left the laminate floor had puddles all over (my husband was home so he cleaned it up) and the cupboards still had wood shavings in them, the subway tile in the kitchen was not cleaned and the new windows were only done in the inside. I would ask if I could clean myself and get $$ off.”
