As noted in our communication via email, you have only been billed for the work that was completed. The original scope of work was only to include rough-in but while on-site a change was requested during install to add a single exhaust line. Had we been notified that the system you planned to supply at time of finish required (2) exhaust lines we would have definitely added it to the scope of work, and costing would have increased at that time to meet the additional labor and materials.
Over the past few months we have offered to return and run an additional exhaust line but you refused to pay for the service, now we have offered to return and connect the second exhaust into the existing line in order to keep your cost lower (Total material and labor estimate of $154.50) but again, you’re refusing to pay for the service.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact us, we would be more than happy to provide copies of the signed contracts that include the detailed scope of work along with corresponding invoicing.
We have recently reviewed company policies with our employees to ensure everything is being performed to company standards. We are also improving job documentation and communications between office staff and technicians to better assist our customers.
There was a misassumption made that you were already aware of the new wire location moved by a different contractor. The business owner personally responded the same business day to your inquiry but we hope to provide faster responses with our improved internal communications. We have also revised our customer contracts to better reflect our terms.
