John installed our system in 2014 and has been on the spot every time we needed follow up, including in 2022 when Verizon replaced their equipment and we needed everything re-programmed. He did an excellent, attractive installation and has been there for us ever since. We couldn't be happier with his service. He's an encyclopedia of what's out there and has access to all the equipment. Highly recommend.

I hired John Brown for my home and used his services for my home theatre systems, outdoor cameras and internet connections. He did such a great job with breaking down all of the costs, installing and maintaining my equipment that I hired him to do the same for my new home on the island of Nantucket. We had seamless service all summer thanks to his technical abilities even though we are thirty miles out to sea. I would highly recommend him for these services.

We had Custom Improvement install a new A/V / media system in a significant renovation project on Cape Cod and we are extremely happy customers. Custom Improvement listened to what we wanted (and what we didn't want), designed a cost effective system, installed it on time and budget, and taught us how to use this user-friendly system. They suggsted several technologies we didn't know about (e.g. Apple TV, MusicCast app) that have made our media and internet service experience terrific. We are having Custom Improvement overhaul the A/V at our other house, as our (well known) vender there was not nearly as capable, sophisticated, or budget conscious. We recommend them strongly for all projects involving TV, video, audio, and internet access devices.

John designed and installed a Lutron RadioRA lighting system, whole house sound system, TVs and home theater for our newly constructed home. He is a skilled, professional, extremely competent, and most importantly, highly responsive. John coordinated his part of the project with our electrician and builder, and proceeded to work seamlessly with both.

We have been using Custom Improvement Technology for several years now and have never been disappointed. John Brown is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Our projects have ranged from network related installations, equipment set-up (TVs, computers, sound systems, etc.), and a full AV setup for new construction (pool house and pool). We enjoy working with him and find that he is willing to do whatever it takes - whether it's an added 'seminar' for our teenagers on how to use a system or installing underwater pool speakers. Most important, we find him to be very accessible and willing to provide fast and efficient follow up support whenever needed. A great resource for us over the years who we highly recommend.

John did an outstanding job installing a system for our home that included AV, integrated sound, internet and lighting control. He is very knowledgeable and places a huge emphasis on quality and reliability. We've had zero technical issues with any of the systems. Our home WiFi network is at least as fast and reliable as my enterprise solution at the office. Also, I felt like he never pressured us into spending more than we wanted. He made the recommendations that worked well for our family.

John put a new system in for me and it is working (and I can work it!!!) wonderfully. He exudes confidence which translates to the customer. Obviously I would recommend him for any tech work computer or music/tv.

Custom Improvement set up my new sound and audio visual system, internet services and lighting controls for a my new home. They did a phenomenal job! They designed the entire system based on my wants and needs from "soup to nuts". They spelled everything up front with an extensive quote and descriptions of all products being used. They bought all of the equipment and installed everything. Custom Improvement worked with my internet and cable service provider. Every intricate detail was covered. The system is easy to use and looks and sounds terrific. The owner cares about his customers and the company is responsive to my questions and they communicate with me on a regular basis.
