HTS Systems

We have done 3 projects with HTS systems Malibu, Hidden Hills, and Brentwood and the quality was above and beyond every time. Expert level knowledge and delivery. Their networking and security setup is genuinely ahead of what I'd seen before, and the Wi-Fi has been rock solid in all three houses. The audio and AV work is expert level, no other way to put it. Came to us on a referral and earned the next two jobs.

I'm an interior designer and I worked with HTS Systems on a custom home alongside a GC we partner with regularly. The theater they designed came out beautifully and the motorized shades and drapery were detailed with real care. What I keep telling people about, though, is the lighting: they sat with our lighting designer well into the night, past 11 at one point, getting every scene and dimming preference exactly the way she wanted it. Most integrators want to program in the afternoon and be gone. It was great working with them.

HTS has handled five properties for me over the years, my home in Sherman Oaks, my house in Mount Olympus in Hollywood, daughters house in Venice, and my office in Century City. They did the theater and Control4 at one house and Crestron at the other, and they take care of our alarm and camera monitoring as well across all our home. They're the only company I'll use for this. I don't get a second opinion anymore.

I brought HTS in because I'd run out of patience with our previous provider. Calls went unanswered. Requests sat. Nobody would tell me what was actually wrong with the network, only that it was fine, which it plainly wasn't. HTS started with an assessment rather than a proposal. They ran a full site survey and mapped the wireless signal across the building, then handed me a floor plan with the dead zones marked. I'd been told for a year that our coverage was fine. It was the first time anyone showed me the problem instead of describing it. They put in a proper firewall and rebuilt the network infrastructure around what the survey found. The difference was immediate and it has held. We also had a Control4 system that someone else installed and nobody was supporting. HTS took it over. That mattered as much as the network work, because it meant one company answering the phone instead of me chasing two. Once the foundation was right we had them add access control at the gate and put in new Axis cameras. What I'd tell someone else: they are a serious technical team. They answer. When I have a question I get an answer the same day, which sounds like a low bar until you've spent a year not clearing it.

We got broken into in May and I called four companies. Three tried to quote me cameras over the phone. HTS said they'd need to come walk the property first. That's all we hired them for at the start, just to tell us where we were exposed. The guy spent most of the visit on our internet, which I thought was odd until he showed me the spots in the house where it just dies. We had cameras and a recorder left by the previous owners and he knew that equipment cold, told me exactly what it could and couldn't do without looking anything up. His point was that cameras on bad internet are expensive decorations. Hard to argue with that. What we got back was a real write-up. Where someone would come in, what was urgent, what could wait. He talked us out of two things I'd already decided I wanted, which is not what I expected from the guy who'd be sending the invoice. The part that mattered most to me: he pointed out that most of what we'd been looking at would tell us we'd been robbed, but wouldn't stop it. So the plan was built around making the house look like a bad idea from the sidewalk. Floodlights on the dark side of the property, cameras somebody can actually see, and a video intercom at both gates so nobody gets past the driveway without us looking at them first. Our neighbor's dog walker told us it reads completely differently from the street now. We'd been leaning toward one of the big cloud systems but didn't want our footage sitting on someone else's servers. They found us a setup that stays in the house and is still monitored around the clock. They're licensed for the alarm side too, which a couple of the companies I called weren't. I didn't know that was something to check. We hired them for the whole job off that report. New internet equipment throughout, cameras in the spots we'd been blind, better lighting, the gates. Same crew every day, all their own people, nobody subcontracted. Dany sat with my wife on the app until she actually had it. I've called multiple times, and every time a lovely lady & concierge client service answers my question no matter what, not just a ticket number. That's most of why I'm writing this.

Having a reliable home security system was a top priority for our family. HTS Systems gave us exactly that peace of mind. They recommended what we actually needed without pushing unnecessary upgrades, and the security, lighting, and Crestron automation work together seamlessly. The quality and service have been excellent, and their team is always responsive. I definitely feel safer in my home and would highly recommend HTS.

As new homeowners in LA, one of the first things we did was sign up with ACS Security for patrol service, and unfortunately, their response time was a real letdown. After a couple of incidents where we needed them and didn't get the response we expected, we knew we needed to take security into our own hands. We brought in HTS Systems, who took over our Crestron Home system from the previous owner, integrated everything with a new alarm and camera setup, and gave us real visibility and control over the property. The peace of mind has been incredible. Their team is sharp, professional, and genuinely cares about getting it right. HTS has been a complete pleasure to work with, and we should have called them from the start. Cheers Vladi

As new homeowners in LA, finding a reliable smart home company felt overwhelming until we found HTS Systems. They took over the servicing of our existing Control4 system, installed a DSC alarm, and put in Hikvision cameras around the house. Everything was done professionally, the wiring is clean, and the system works exactly as it should. Their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend Thanks HTS for the great work!! Mark I.

We recently bought a home in LA that came with an outdated ADT system the previous owners had been using for years. After dealing with constant false alarms and slow service from ADT, we decided to make a change and brought in HTS Systems. They took over our alarm system, upgraded the equipment, and got everything dialed in within a single visit. The difference has been night and day — the system actually works the way it should, and when we have questions, someone answers the phone. As new homeowners, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. HTS is professional, knowledgeable, and a real pleasure to work with.

I work in construction and recently shared a job site with HTS Systems on a high-end residential build. They handled the Control4 automation, Sony projector, and Lutron lighting install, home security and alarms. Their work was really professional from start to finish. Their crew is organized, easy to communicate with, and their wiring is some of the cleanest I've seen. Coordinating with them on-site was effortless, and everything worked perfectly the day it was powered up. HTS is a true pleasure to work with, and I'd be glad to be on another job with them anytime.

We've tried several luxury companies at our Malibu home who claimed they do high-end smart home automation and theaters. What we got were poorly designed rooms with basic automation schedules from people who honestly don't know Control4 to the level of HTS. And not one of them handled security — every single one handed us off to a partner who had no idea what was installed. HTS does everything. Same team every time — design, programming, installation, and 24/7 support. Never a handoff. Zero complaints.

HTS Systems is the only company in LA that does luxury AV, home theaters, and professional security at this level. Our Brentwood installation was flawless, true white-glove service from the first call to final installing. They were always reachable, always responsive, and made sure every system was fully tested before they left. Zero complaints.
