My work is always 5 star, unfortunately, like an airline, we strive to be on time with a 90% or better rating. However, sometimes in the trades that includes travel ,traffic and other job delays, we may be forced to cancel or arrive late. Our software always updates the status and we call to advise of any delays. In your case, I called and updated you along the way.

We quote using Thumbtacks instant quote system which is not always perfect. But sometimes the request is not clear or out of scope or not explained correctly. I don't expect customers to know the nuances and details of walls, wall mount types, etc. We always confirm the price prior to beginning any work upon in person inspection.

When I quoted you the updated price in person, you told me you had no money, so there was nothing else to discuss.

I invested paying Thumbtack, 2 hours of travel time and gas. It would be foolish to start a job that payment was suspect.

You are entitled to your opinion but posting comments all over the internet simply because you did not like the quoted price is just not reasonable.

So your one star was because you did not like the quoted price and late arrival.
