My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

A.E. McKay Builder's specializes in custom built residential homes. Our distinctive homes have made us a preferred builder in the Kennebecasis Valley. We will build to almost any budget! We have packages ranging from $299,000 to 1M and above. We have worked hard to earn the trust and respect of our customers as this is very important to us. Our hard work has earned us a good deal of respect from the people of the Kennebecasis Valley. We show integrity and honesty in our dealings and believe the project is not complete until you are completely satisfied with your new home. Our company uses high quality products and materials and we offer a ten year Atlantic Home Warranty on each home that we build. All cabinetry in our homes is custom and hand built in our wood shop. We are proud 8 time builders of the NB Hospital Home Lottery Grand Prize Show Home.

So far so good, our home is in the process of being built. I have nothing negative to say about Andrew and his team. The house is getting close to the final stages and we love the design and the quality of work. The contractor is very professional and his people will bend over backwards to work with you.

We had a plan done by a reputable designer that took into account my wife's MS. So we wanted to make the house wheelchair accessible. We were told we needed to use ICF but Andrew McKay owner of AE Mackey builders promised he could do it without ICF. He was completely wrong. We now have a ramp in the garage after he said he would have the access in the garage without a ramp. We would Not recommend this builder to anyone. They took 8 months to build the house and then when we moved in and had a leak it took them 4 months to fix that. They were going to lay hardwood on the wet OSB subfloor without having it tested for moisture or mood. We had it tested and revealed abundant mold and moisture. We had nothing but issues with this builder. Do not use this builder for any project you have. not recommend using this so called builder. .
