I've worked with AJ for almost 10 years are various homes throughout the Pittsburgh Area. We manufacture high end wood flooring and he connects me with the home owner to help them make their flooring decision. Every homeowner I've ever met with has always been very happy working with AJ & Atina Homes. This is not always the situation with homeowners and their builders by the time they are at getting close to the end of their home build & making the final flooring decision. I love how all their projects reflect the personality of the homeowner too. I'd highly recommend him for anyone building a house. Someday if I ever build my own house they would be my first choice!

I have nothing but rave reviews for Atina Homes. Their principal AJ Liberatore built my first house in 2003. 10 years later, there have been no major problems with any aspect of the entire house. This is one of the most well-built houses that I have ever seen. Last year, Atina Homes did an attic renovation on our existing house requiring replacement of a portion of the roof. At the same time, multiple other rooms were renovated as well. This was a four month process of construction while we were living in the house. AJ was always up front and honest. At the conclusion of the project many months later, they were under budget. To this day, I have never had that experience with any other contractor. The quality of the work is top notch as well. If I were building another house tomorrow, I would absolutely hire Atina Homes for the work.

I hired this company to build my dream home and I would do it all over again. Totally professional, hard working and most importantly honest. From the top (General Contractor) to each of the subcontractors, they are truly and amazingly talented craftsmen. Throughout the process, they listened to our comments/suggestions/questions and realzed our vision as we did. We wanted to build a new home that had old home characteristics and that is exactly what we received. I would recommend and have recommended this company for any home construction and remodeling. They are simply the best.

Working with AJ has been a dream so far in our building process. He seems like he is always available to us even though I know he has other projects/jobs - it is nothing for to us to get an email from him at 11:00 p.m. He is always calm, kind and very respectful. My business with Atina homes involves the supply & installation of many phases of construction including all types of insulation products, gas and wood burning fireplaces, wire and laminate shelving, seamless gutters & downspouts and exteriors such as siding, soffit & fascia. They have always been very open with communications, and quickly answer any questions that they may have on structural and installation matters. We have provided flooring services to the New Construction, Residential, Multi-Family and Residential Markets since 1979, and we can say that Atina Homes does provide one of the best quality constructed homes that are built in Pittsburgh.

We built our home with AJ Liberatore, the owner of Atina Homes in the year 2011. The first time we met AJ we liked him instantly! We found him to be refreshingly honest and extremely knowledgeable about the process of building a home. We met with AJ for the first time in April of 2011. We were in a bit of a time crunch as our second child was due at the beginning of December. Although it required a great deal of concentration on our part and Atina Home's, our home was finished by December 1, a little over 5 months after breaking ground. Unlike some builders, AJ consistently uses the same core of sub contractors. We liked the fact that they were familiar with his home building process and they all spoke very highly of him. They also did a great job as well. We were especially impressed with our kitchen designer who did a fantastic job. We also loved his main carpenter who created multiple "visions" that we had such as molding designs on the walls and the design of our fireplace. AJ did a great job of meeting all of our design requests. Nothing that we did was "cookie cutter" or picked out of a catalog. We were able to design everything custom from our floor plan to our staircase to the knobs on the doors. We, of course, had a few bumps in the road while building our home, but never once did they extend the timeline or stop the progress. AJ always handled the situation professionally, quickly, and efficiently. We live in a neighborhood where multiple builders are offered and everyone who built with someone other than AJ is sorry that they did! Every other builder has given the other families multiple issues and I have yet to hear a complaint about Atina Homes. I would highly recommend building with them, and can guarantee that you will have the best home building experience possible!

Atina Homes / AJ Liberatore did a fantastic job building our home. We met AJ when he was advertising the sale of a lot. We them hired AJ to build our home. AJ has great sub contractors who were conscious of their workmanship. AJ was very conscious of the cost, and kept a close watch on the budget that was set for us. AJ completed the house well within the time frame he projected to build our home. There are not enough stars to rate him. Again, I highly recommend him.

We have worked with Atina Homes on many custom homes. They are always a pleasure to work with. We find the quality of the homes they build to be excellent. All preparations that are done for M & M to install cabinets and countertops make our job easy to complete. Our installers also say that the Atina Home customers are quick to talk about how easy they are to work with.

The whole building process was extremely smooth and the job was executed in a timely manner. During the whole process I was treated professionally and with respect. The house was a high quality product and as per spec. Even the after move in service is pretty good. All minor fixes are being looked into very well by the builder.
