As difficult as building a new home can be, Adam and the Barriere Construction team made it much easier and more enjoyable. The level of knowledge, service, and professionalism we experienced was top-notch. We received a very high level of personal attention and interaction as well. Someone was always available to answer a question, help with a design concept or trim selection, or just to keep us up to date. This is particularly important when you’re like us, building a custom home for the first time. Barriere’s team, along with all the trades involved, demonstrated seasoned expertise. Everyone seemed to care as much, if not more, about our home as we did. That, along with how personable and friendly the team was, really made us feel comfortable throughout the process. In addition, we started with a very unique and challenging property to develop, but Barriere was up to the task and helped us complete a project that some didn’t think was possible. From assistance in dealing with the Village, to patience with engineering changes, Barriere checked all the boxes. Regarding the quality of the finished product, it really did exceed our expectations. Every aspect of the finishes, from tile to trim, reflected the level you would expect when building a custom home. I never once felt like I was being treated in any other way than completely honest and fair. It was quite refreshing. Adam helped us maximize every dollar spent. Our home definitely ‘punches above its weight-class’ in that respect. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better custom home building experience. I would recommend Barriere to anyone looking for a great custom builder with a very personal feel.

From the beginning of our project to its completion, we felt as if we were in good hands with Barriere Construction. During our first consultation, our contractor listened to our vision for updating our kitchen while offering suggestions to stay within our budget. Once the project was underway, we felt as if the knowledge and quality of work by all involved was superior---exceeding our expectations; also noteworthy is that they were all such nice guys, easy to work with, trustworthy, and dependable. We felt comfortable having them work in our home while we were away. Communication with our contractor was great---our emails and phone inquiries were responded to in a timely manner throughout. I would highly recommend Barriere Construction to anybody wanting to complete any home project---big or small.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Adam Barry of Barriere Construction, as well as, all of his team members who worked on my remodeling projects. I have worked with Barriere Construction on two separate occasions and would definitely call on them again for future projects. Some of the work performed by them include: Bathroom remodel, new engineered flooring, interior paint throughout entire house and kitchen remodel.
