Beracah Homes, Inc. is modular construction company and custom home builder serving Delaware, Maryland, parts of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Beracah specializes in custom designed homes and light commercial projects. Located in Greenwood, DE, Beracah is a pioneer in "off-site, stick-built" construction. Beracah began production in the former Nanticoke Home factory on April 7th, 2003, with a commitment to deliver quality and value in the new home construction industry. That commitment can be seen in the high quality raw materials built into each home or commercial structure. Every Beracah is built stronger, with up to 30% more lumber than an typical site-built home - which gives you additional factory insulation, to help reduce your home's energy consumption.

We paid over $200,000 for this 1,200SF home, so the expectation would be for a home of higher quality. The reality was quite different. We have been in the home 7 months and the floors are already sagging, the carpet is wearing out, the roof and trim had to be retacked, the stove keeps kicking the breaker, the refrigerator had to be replaced, the water heater is still waiting to be replaced, the air handler had to be replaced, the fans do not work, the interior finish is bare bones. Overall, this builder should stick with something like Legos - the execution was wrought with delays, and the end result has been an absolute study in how not to build a home, buy a home, or have a home warranty serviced. You would do well to avoid this builder at your own peril.
