After conducting a nationwide serach for the right timberframer, it was the team at Big River Timberworks helped make our dream house a reality. From initial concept to design and right through frame raising, they answered all of our questions, provided excellent guidance, and thoughtful suggestions. They worked closely with our general contractor and timber supplier to ensure that our project stayed on time and on budget. Even during a bitterly cold day February, they had me pounding the 1st peg - a unique expereince. Eric and Erik get our full endorement and recommendation.

The guys at BRT were fantastic to work with. Their attention to detail was beyond my expectations. They checked with me on all critical issues and followed through on all my concerns, even over communicating so there could be no mistakes. Their workmanship and skill was amazing on both the mortise and tenon work and the assembly of the structure itself. They welcomed me into the team in the areas I wanted to be involved in and always worked with smiles on their faces. I truly enjoyed the process and would gladly work with them again if I ever have another project. I feel like I not only got a great barn, but also made some pretty cool friends.
