We just finished a custom build with Blue Ridge and love our home! Our project manager, Brandon, handled our project with care every step of the way and made it very clear that he genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy. Brandon is clearly very knowledgeable in construction and we appreciated his patience explaining things to us and offering his educated opinion to help us make decisions. He went to bat for us several times with subcontractors over the course of our project to have them fix or improve things and he represented our interests very well. He took care of little things that we asked for without complaint - for example he had the tile installers replace a tile that I didn't like cosmetically - and always made us feel welcome to bring things up. Brandon really went above and beyond by involving us proactively to get the punch list together early and working through items quickly. He willingly took on more items that would have had to go through warranty, saving us time, which we really appreciated. He has great pride in his work and his enthusiasm for the project was always high. Not only that, Brandon is wonderful to work with and made it his personal mission to get to know us and align to our personalities. All that said, we were disappointed on several occasions with the quality of work provided by subcontractors and the lack of proactive checks and balances to make sure the work was done to appropriate standards. It seems the subs do not manage the workers very well, and maybe Blue Ridge has to do more hands-on supervision as well. We have discussed this with the team at BRCH and expect they will act on this feedback.

Darren (Sensitive Information Hidden) was our first contact he was a great help with design and with projecting cost of home. We are just finishing the selection process. Everything went well. Megan Duncan did a fantastic job helping with selection and was always willing to help. Hannah processed permits she keeps us updated on process along the way. Greg met use at our lot. He had great suggestions on placement of home. Meeting project manager is our next step.

As a subcontractor currently working with Blue Ridge, I can say that they approach each home with an eye towards quality and customer satisfaction. They operate their business with integrity, and we are proud to work with them!

Blue Ridge Custom Homes has been a great company to engage with for my custom house build. They purchased the lot and got the construction going on my new house build for very little down. Their team is very proficient and did exceptionally well with the scheduled build. I visited the job site regularly and watched the great detail and quality with the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, shingle, rough in, etc. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a Custom House Build. I love my new house.

We are extremely happy with our BRCH! Our project manager, Joe (Sensitive Information Hidden), was a gem to work with. He took the time to understand our requirements and during the build process was extremely patient with husband/wife differences as well as some design challenges. His construction background helped clarify some of the decisions we had to make. He was also current on budget updates and answered many of the budget questions asked. I contracted with Blue Ridge Custom Homes to build a custom carport and pergola. They knocked it out of the park, and the final product exceeded my visions. Kevin and Clay were amazing to work with; they were professional, attentive and very responsive. We had to make some adjustments as the project progressed, but Clay and his crew kept things moving along. I highly recommend them for your project. I will definitely work with them again on my next project!

BRCH was great from the start to the finish of our new home. They exemplified the highest degree of professionalism and construction knowledge throughout our home building experience. Their Project Manager, Joe Meza demonstrated exceptional customer centric focus and superior communications with us. His patience, understanding and support were truly fantastic. Chris Coiner was outstanding as well. His timely and detailed cost sheets kept us apprised of our budget and on point with our financial decisions. Both Joe and Chis exemplify outstanding customer service. The finished product, now our home, is reflective of superior craftsmanship and assuredly a customized look and feel. Overall, we are exceptionally pleased.

We are so pleased with our home renovation, and we very much enjoyed working with Clay and the staff at Blue Ridge. I am thrilled with the renovations Blue Ridge completed on two of our bathrooms. Kevin Brungard made an appointment for a consultation very shortly after my first contact with him. He truly listened to me and delivered my dream bathroom when other contractors said what I wanted couldn’t be done. Let me start off by saying if we had to build our house all over we would 100% choose Blue Ridge Custom Homes again. We reached out and were immediately contacted back by the owner Nathan Wiley, while he was on vacation! He worked back and forth with us for weeks entertaining all of our little changes to the floorplan, whether we wanted a basement or a crawlspace, the siding, no little detail was untouched. Once finished he quickly got back to us with an estimate, and despite our extravagant ask, it was within our budget! We enthusiastically signed the contract and work immediately got started. From start to finish our home took around 10 months, from ground breaking, to us moving in. During this time we were paired with Matt Snyder as our general contractor. Matt was amazing. He made sure he was present for every single walkthrough asking the challenging questions to ensure we knew exactly what we were getting in the end product. He gave incredibly helpful suggestions for changes to the home, his immediate number that he was always available at, constant updates on what was happening that day at our house, and he made what is usually a stressful process fun and enjoyable. Partnered with Matt on the financial side was Chris Coiner. Chris was a delight to work with. He was always available for questions if we had them, responded to emails pretty much immediately, and kept us up to date on the ever changing financial work that comes along with building a home. I’ve never seen a final expense report for a building ever stay as accurate as the one they maintained. I 100% recommend BRCH for your building needs. I hope they continue on for a long time in the VA area. I know who will always be my first and only call when I have a need. Only question I have of them, will you all travel to build our vacation home? :)
