“Amy's knowledge of the Historic Preservation Commission and how to navigate through every stage from the application for a Certificate of Appropriateness, through appealing decisions and reaching agreeable compromises was invaluable. Our only option for increasing the square footage of our 1902, 864sqft, corner lot Contributing home, was to raise the house off it's crumbling foundations and put in a full basement. Amy designed our addition with two bedrooms, a full bath, family, laundry, and mechanical rooms, with an amazing amount of natural light, thereby doubling our livable space.
