Do not waste your hard earned money with Brookfield Residential. They will take your earnest money and never make the house. This was supposed to be our first home. We went under contract 193 days back. We were told that the maximum time to finish the house would be 6-7 months. Still, there is not even a finished roof and the drywall would be weeks to months away. For the last 6 month, we went to the house every week, and inevitably returned disappointed. They kept making excuses every time we met them. During one stretch, the builder admitted that NO ONE entered the house for 85 DAYS. Many other single family homes have broken contract because of extreme delays. Over time, it was clear to us that we not get the house in foreseeable future and continue to pay for the rent unnecessarily. We decided to look for other options. The builder refused to return our earnest money, which was almost 10% of our downpayment, leading to a significant financial loss. The builder said they wouldn’t return the money even if something terrible was to happen to us. Basically, even though the delays are from the builder’s side, they will bully the buyer. Do not put your time and money into this builder. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Love the work they do. The designers pay great attention to detail. This is a fun team and great work environment!
