Built by Owner has renovated two homes for us-we wouldn't think of using anyone else. Greg and his professional staff gave us just what we were looking for-perfection. Built By Owner, Inc. did an outstanding job in every respect. They are extremely professional in everything they do and they are all super-nice people. My wife and I chose every sub-contractor that Built By Owner recommended and we were thrilled with each and every one of them. Built By Owner did a total and complete renovation of the interior of our townhouse. Their interior demolition stripped everything down to the concrete blocks and wood framework, including the removal of two fireplaces. The job included the demolition of a raised living room on our first level. Prior to that demolition, the entrance to the townhouse, the kitchen and the dining room were two steps lower than the living room. They also eliminated a wall that separated the kitchen from the living room, and now we have a lovely open kitchen. Built By Owner did an amazing job of transforming a townhouse built in 1978 from a dark, rough sawn cedar interior into a spectacular state of the art, modern showcase, with no wood, two glass walls, glass staircase railings, etc. On the second level, Built By Owner also totally transformed every room, including the conversion of a previous den into a magnificent master closet. Built by Owner also did a fantastic job with our roof deck patio. My wife and I highly recommend these people. You cannot go wrong with them.

I’ve had the luxury of working with Built By Owner in a professional capacity since 2007 and cannot begin to rave enough about their work and professionalism. I’m a professional photographer specializing in Architectural/Interior Design Photography and I see beautiful homes all the time; however the homes and condos that Built By Owner constructs are without a doubt some of the best I’ve ever seen. I was also fortunate enough to have them remodel a bathroom at my own home in Victoria Park and we get nothing but compliments on it! I think the thing that really sets Built By Owner apart from other GC’s and high-end builders is their commitment to superior client service. I have witnessed them go out of their way to help clients with things far outside of their scope of work. I’ve heard clients and Interior Designers praise them on every job I’ve photographed, and beyond that, I get endless compliments on all of the gorgeous Built By Owner built/remodeled residences that I have photographed. I have over the past 26 years employed Built By Owner for their services to do major construction on 3 homes. I have never dealt with such an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL COMPANY, from the owners to their employess, to their trades!! They are fantastic!! Honest, neat and soooo caring in all that they do. My goodness what company today has employees for 10 years and more?? BUILT BY OWNER DOES!! Greg and Ed, the owners are truly wonderful to work with. They are caring, they are involved, they are committed, and they answer the phone!! And.. they Show up as do their employees!! They were professional. I was treated with respect. They tried to save me money and made suggestions about construction project. They were prompt and kept communicating with me when things were delayed. They kept returning my calls if I left messages. They have a physical business address, not a virtual one... so I trust they will be there when you need them in the future, or if something doesn't turn out as expected. I was extremely pleased with them and will use them again in the future.

Built by owner Is extremely professional, creative and reliable. My home is featured on their page and i love every detail they suggested on my home. I have since used them on my commercial project and continue to have a great working relationship with them.
