“I hired the services of Sanchez Homes for a fairly significant reno project for my 8 year old town house in Ottawa. The company was hired to install hardwood flooring for the entire second floor, installation of hardwood stairs, removal, re-staining and reinstallation of handrailing, installation of new spindles, new baseboards and new trim. The project also included the removal of previous carpeting, baseboards and trim. The initial stage of the project; removal of existing flooring was a dirty dusty job that the company handled with professionalism and good humour. Sanchez Homes involved me throughout the entire project, helping me to choose from the selection of the hardwood, spindles and stains. There are hundreds of details involved in a project of this nature, many of which I had not anticipated. Sanchez Homes seemed to know all the details and options before the project even began, which saved me time and money Before installation of the new flooring, the company was able to solve a constant irritant that had been with my house since the day it was built; the floors creaked incessantly. Sanchez Homes solved this by screwing hundreds of screws into the floor boards and re-anchoring the wall framing, a simple but labour intensive solution that other companies may have overlooked. Their trades people were experienced knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The attention to detail was surprising, the overall results is what one would expect in an expensive custom built home. The results surpassed my expectations.......and I expect a lot from the people I do business with.”

“Casey was one of three contractors that I interviewed and received quotes from about installing a large window in a walkout basement. My house is a large bungalow and could have been stressed by the 4' X 8' window cut out through the foundation. He was the only one that felt a steel support beam would be necessary for structural security. He was the only one that presented a formal contract and description of the work necessary even though all contractors came highly recommended by the Renovate magazine and BBB. He was always available to answer questions and explain the renovation. He consulted an engineer and got city permits before commencing with the work. His work was done in a timely manner and within budget. His people did an excellent job matching the soldiering with another window already previously installed during the original construction so that there is a uniformity of presentation. I have recommended him to my friends and do not hesitate to recommend him highly now. If I decide to have more renovations done on my home Cornelis Construction will be the first business I call. I have photos available but don't know how to include them.”

“Firstly, I can't recommend Roos Construction highly enough for any level of remodeling or renovation jobs you may be doing. We recently used Roos Construction to finish the basement of our bungalow. My wife is expecting shortly and we wanted the house to be fully finished before the little one arrives. Roos construction quickly designed a 3D model of what our basement layout would be based on our requirements and then started immediatly with correctly insulating the basement, correcting some moisture issues left by the builder and framing for an additionnal custom bathroom in the basement. We knew it would be tight with time constraints but Aaron from Roos Construction absolutely pulled through for us. I also really appreciated how hard they all worked towards keeping the remodel on schedule and within our budget. Remodeling, or any kind of renovation, (whether big or small) can be very stressful, but having Roos Construction as our contractor really helped alleviate the majority of our concerns and I will definitely be calling him for any future renovation needs we may have.
