“Mark built our house in 2014 and we have a beautiful house, meeting all our expectations and more. We did while being out of state, through emails and pictures. It worked! The craftsmanship was outstanding. Building a house is a long sometimes challenging process and overall it went well. We had some up and down but that is totally expected for such a huge endeavor: asking a stranger to materialize the most expensive vision you ever had in your life... In the end it all worked out. He came back to fix a few things (which is normal) and we never had to pay or argue about it, he took care of it, no question, and that is special! I would totally work with him and his team again if we ever build another house. I would have no problem recommending him to my best friend or family. Great experience, great house, love living in it!”

“I writing this review on Cardinal Crest based on our dealings with the company. We worked with Joe for a couple of months while we were trying to decide on a builder for our new home. It was a very difficult decision, but ultimately we chose to build with a different company. With that being said, we had an extremely positive experience dealing with everyone at Cardinal Crest, Joe in particular. We would absolutely contact them again if we were going build another house, and we would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a quality home. “We had a great experience building with Homes by Chris TWO times. The first time was after our house was destroyed by a tornado. We were attracted to their finish work in their model but it turned out that they are so much more than just their finish work. HBC helped us redesign our old house on the existing foundation. Our home was more functional because they helped us move the laundry to the main floor, get a walk in pantry and a huge master closet. It was their care, professionalism, and accessibility that brought us back to rebuild another new home when our family grew larger. Many builders claim to be "custom", but seem to have many exceptions and limitations. HBC helped us get exactly what we wanted in our home including cabinets to the ceiling, a drop zone to fit my family's needs, a garage free of beams and helped us maximize our lot space and reduce cost by changing the original plot of our land.They truly want to do what is best for the families they work with. With Homes by Chris you truly get to design and create your dream home. They encourage creativity and have the motto, "fear no color". I highly recommend this professional, hands on building team.”
