He was very knowledgeable and experienced in guiding us through the design, permitting and construction stages of the projects.
He had many helpful design and construction ideas throughout the process that we look back on now and are glad we took his advice. Lighting recommendations, window selections, structural and foundation advice, plumbing ideas and others that proved to be very valuable over time.

They worked well with us to be respectful of our budget but were also always willing to discuss alternatives and new ideas. Overall we were extremely pleased with the final work.”

“J&M not only came in and corrected mistakes and errors of a prior contractor, but has done amazing new construction work for us as well. They asked to have our architect join us in a discussion for our addition, and together we all came up with the best plan. J&M's team went to work, beat the deadline, stayed within budget (even with a few little extras added in), and did an amazing job. They also were so respectful of our home, our yard, and the impact on our neighbors. At the end of every work day, they cleaned up the construction site and took the trash taken away - they treated our home as if it were theirs. Everyone on their team was all so polite and respectful. I would recommend them to everyone in Fairfield County.”

“JBC did a complete house renovation for me in 2017. I was still living on Long Island and the house was in Westchester. Barry Cohen was always attentive to the project, my requests and would call or email me when there were issues or decisions to be made. I would check on the project weekly but Barry was in charge. He was on site regularly and supervised all aspects of the project from bathroom to kitchen renovation to roof replacement and painting. It took many months but we’ll worth the effort.
I had interviewed 3 contractors prior to project initiation and Barry was the only one to actually give me a complete proposal for work to be completed. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and would recommend JBC without hesitation”
