Honest and clear on scope of project; willing to give ideas and been working with patience with the architect which unfortunately is not local (big mistake on our part). Without the staff at Cambridge Homes the project would be a disaster - their experience (in both residential and commercial) is helping us make this remodel with addition (over 12,000 sq feet) much easier. Mr. Wayne Dollarhide is conscious of staying within budget, is open to make suggestions based on our needs and are accessible and in constant communication. I was the Interior Architect on a new 2 story 6,000+ sq. ft. project in Beverly Hills working with Cambridge Homes and I was very impressed with how organized Wayne Dollarhide was running this project. Building a house is obviously an arduous undertaking - there are so many unknowns. So how do you counteract that? You either become a contractor yourself, or you hire one you know has your best interests at heart. And I mean, really does have your best interests at heart. Wayne is that guy. He is not only a wonderful contractor, but a very special human being. Call him, have him bid on your job and see if in the first meeting you don't immediately feel at ease and reassured. You may decide to chose another contractor for various reasons, but you certainly won't regret having Wayne part of the process. There may be just as good out there, but there is no better, of that I am assured. I recommend him unreservedly. As they say, if you don't know how to build, be sure you know the builder!
