Very long story over a 6 month period. Signed a contract with Steve Wiggins and he did eventually honor the contract after he breached it. Unusual situation, cost us $20k plus about $5k lost interest, but we probably came out ahead. Odd person to deal with, you contact him, be prepared to wait awhile for any response. He goes silent and there’s no office you can go to. Long story short, we used a clause to cancel the contract a few weeks after signing it and giving him $350k to begin construction. We knew canceling the contract would cost us $20k but we had no choice. He dragged the refund out 6 weeks longer than originally agreed, was completely silent, never returned calls so we almost ended up suing him for breach of contract. Very frustrating, I’m glad its over. EXPENSIVE lesson. I can’t imagine owning one of his homes. Good luck if you have issues or need to reach him. Use an attorney to write any contract dealing with this person and or company.

C&E Wurzer has built 2 homes for us, and has done an incredible job on both of them. We are impressed by their communication, willingness to meet during non-traditional business hours, and more than anything, by the quality of their work. They do a great job guiding you in any decision making (where you want the guidance) and listening to the decisions you've made. Lastly, their online tool to help you manage your project cost and track any changes is especially useful for a project of this magnitude.

This builder was commissioned to design and build our new home. They stayed very close to our budget, worked with us to add or cut out things as we made new decisions during building, and had open, honest communication throughout the process. They did an excellent job of helping us create our dream home! We look at our new home every day and can't believe how lucky we are to live here!

C&E has built six large multifamily buildings for us. They have been timely and the quality of work has been excellent. The customer service is very good from ALL employees. Justin Wurzer provides very prompt service and takes care of any small issues that may arise immediately. We had no issues in the construction of 6 buildings. The entire team at C&E Builders are true professionals. From the planning stage to the final product, then entire process was flawless. Having the ability to choose a lot of the materials at one location and with their assistance, made the process much easier than running around town.

The home building process is such a major life event that you want someone you can trust and work with easily. Craig and his employees were outstanding in so many ways. The finished product was remarkable and we recommend them to anyone contemplating building a house.
