As soon as we saw our friends' house built by Carolina Craftsman Builders (CCB), we were sold on this builder. CCB's quality and attention to detail is pretty amazing and really stands out in an industry where cutting corners is the norm. We have total confidence CCB built our home with as much emphasis on the inner workings as the incredible craftsmanship on display, and don't expect to be dealing with the typical homeowner headaches. Ryan's client service has consistently exceeded our expectations (e.g., very detailed new home orientation, very quick responses to questions) and he clearly remains passionate about ensuring we are totally satisfied (and we are). My wife and I worked with Ryan and the Carolina Craftsman team in 2020 to build our dream home. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic! The house design, planning, and build was executed with the highest level of quality. Our house was completed a few weeks earlier than expected within our established budget. There is a lot involved in building a home but the frequent and timely communication by Ryan added to our positive experience.

Carolina Craftsman and Ryan were fantastic to work with, extremely thorough, detailed and honest. Even after we moved into our new home Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and performed work that was above and beyond a home builder. We had been trying to do a renovation, but after six months of working with another architect/build firm whose plans were consistently off, late, and over budget, we heard feedback from every builder we interviewed that it would be better to build new. I saw the sign for Carolina Craftsman Builders in a nearby neighborhood. I liked the design of the house and saw that it went up quickly and cleanly, not something you see a lot of these days. I had a call with Nate, and within a month, after talking with other references and walking through a few of their beautiful homes, we felt very confident moving forward with CCB. We worked together to design a new house and were so impressed with how responsive Nate was to our requests. Even with extreme rain delays due to two hurricanes, our house was complete in eight months from demolition. Nate was amazing to work with- he was so transparent through the entire process. We knew what things would cost, why they were doing things the way they did, and timing throughout the process. He bent over backwards to make sure every detail was “right”. Everyone on our street complimented how clean our build was, and Nate personally ensured our neighbors had access to him if there were any issues. We are thrilled with our new home. It is more than we could have hoped for, on time and on budget. In a neighborhood full of older, beautifully renovated homes, we constantly receive compliments on how well our new build fits in to the neighborhood. No one believes me when I tell them how positive our experience was in working with our builder. But do…believe it! CCB is the real deal. Quality product, great to work with, and beautiful results! Carolina Craftsman built our new house. It was impeccably done. The attention to detail was outstanding. More importantly, after completion the builder was easy to reach and reacted immediately to any problems (there was only a few new house problems). The builders responded and fixed every issue with speed and efficiency. I cannot recommend them enough.

We absolutely LOVED working with Carolina Craftsman Builders to build our first home! Both Ryan and Nate Meeuwsen are amazing to work with. We initially discovered CCB on Houzz while relocating from San Antonio, TX to Charlotte, NC. After speaking to several builders in the area, it was an easy decision to go with CCB. We designed our house, purchased a lot, and coordinated our construction loan all from Texas. During construction the customer comes first and they strive very hard to make sure that you are always happy. Moreover they are very transparent and honest and we felt like we could trust them 110%. There is a lot of prep and planning time but they fly through construction. When we talk with friends, most are not happy with their builders and have plenty to complain about. Not us! We had so much fun designing our house and relied heavily on CCB during the creative process. They have great taste and we trusted their input. At the end of the day, Ryan and Nate are genuine people, who just want you to be 100% happy with the final product. They stand behind their product more than any other builder we’ve heard of. We feel so fortunate to own a Carolina Craftsman Home.
