My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Carrington Homes designed and built the home of my dreams! I could not be happier working with this builder. They took my dream home and made it a reality. Carl and his team are amazing to work with. They updated me every step of the way and were easy to get a hold of to answer any questions I had. The process was seamless and exciting! I'm so happy in my brand new home.

Our home is structurally very complicated and custom and needed as much professional skill as we could find. Not only did Carrington Homes provide that professional skill but made the experience of building actually enjoyable. We've been in our home for over 4 years and it's been problem free...a testament to Carrington's quality and ongoing attention to the relationships it builds with its customers. They're worth six stars!

Carrington builds a nice looking house. They get most of it right by the time they get to the completion of the house. The framers are the best in the business. We were happy with most of the process. Unfortunately it's after you have been in the house for a while that we've encountered issues. Exterior doors were never right. The vent free fireplace leaks air into the house like an open door. (They tried twice to fix) the windows are having issues now there is a leak in the basement when the rain comes from the south. The house is 17 years old and some of this is expected, and will need repairs. Just don't call Carl, he is not interested in servicing his older homes he is only interested in large new projects. His words: "Unfortunately, the warranty on your home has expired. We are extremely busy and are not taking on any smaller projects. I would recommend contacting a smaller renovation contractor in your area to make those repairs." If you're going to build a house every 5-years and move on, build with Carl if not, I wouldn't recommend him.

We have worked him on many projects over the last decade and I'm always impressed with his leadership and concern for having the job done right...even with issues when many homeowners wouldn't know the difference.
