Charlie and his team did a great job installing a new wall, and custom fireplace surround and cabinets. Great communicator and temperament. We didn't really have any plans or design and it made us anxious but in the end it all owkred our perfectly. Stephen R

CEF and his crew took over a project when I got in over my head on remodeling a home I recently purchased. They picked up where I left off and completed the job quickly and to perfection. Charlie has great ideas and a vision of what will work best - especially on a budget!

Charlie Made some great suggestions to enhance our decking and railing system as well as the interior of our sun porch. We hired Charles Fountain and his team to remodel out dated 1980's barhroom in the fall of 2019. Charlie did a fantastic job from start to finish. He worked with us on design, selecting tile, fixtures, vanity, mirror everything to make our new bathroom sparkle. He started the project when we were in Florida for the Winter and kept his promise to keep us informed as the project progressed with pictures and calls. Charlie always answers his phone, protected our home by covering furniture and carpeting so there was no dirt or grime from the demolition. We came home early because of the pandemic and he had the house cleaned and ready for us on short notice. The new bathroom is everything we hoped for and more. We are completely satisfied. The cost was absolutely fair and we would hire CEF Building and Remodeling again for any project without question. I have worked with several contractors in the ten years we have lived on Cape Cod, none better than Charlie and his crew of craftsmen.

Charlie is very conscientious and pays a great deal of attention to details. His work is always high end. We will always be glad to call Charlie for anything else we want done.

Hats off to CEF Building and Remodeling! Meeting the owner, Charlie F., I hadn't had time to check reviews, but went with my gut. I handed him the plans from an Architect, he took right over and completed my addition on time. He walked through the process with me and what I needed to know as far as permits, etc. As a part-time resident, I handed Charlie my key and never had a worry for one second. His two full-time experienced carpenters were on the job everyday and did such high end, skilled labor; my friends and family all commented on the work and finishing touches. CEF's access to plumbers, HVAC and electricians made the process even smoother. I am very happy with the addition!

Charlie was an amazing contractor. His prices were fair, he completed the job in a timely manner, his workers are great and very neat. Charlie provided some very creative ideas that helped maximize the space, and resources to get good deals on supplies and fixtures. We had two bathrooms gutted and renovated and now we are getting ready to start the kitchen. Very excited to have his work again. Highly recommended!

CEF did an amazing job on our master bathroom. They were at our house every morning at 7 AM sharp. And worked all day. I would definitely recommend them to do your home project.

We purchased a home in Gray Gables in early 2017 and contracted CEF Construction to build a three season porch with a gas fireplace. We had some design ideas when we initially met with Charlie Fountain and he provided us with even more ideas upon which to build a concept. After several meetings, we agreed on a final design and construction commenced. As we continued through the construction process, we established a productive and collaborative working relationship with Charlie and his outstanding staff. It was easy to communicate with Charlie and his team as we frequently bounced ideas off of each other. The entire CEF team was professional, innovative, hard-working and dedicated. More importantly, the quality of their workmanship was superb. In addition, the final design was made even more appealing with the first-class landscaping by Linnell Landscaping and patio designed/installed by JD Masonry. Although we had a few delays due to permit issues and weather, everyone worked together to ensure the success of this project. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
