We bought our house off Charles 2 years ago and we couldn't be happier. The house was finished to a very high standard and Charles was amazing to work with. We were able to switch out and customise a few details and Charles was so helpful. We have continued to lean on him when needed. I couldn't recommend a builder more. Thank You Charles for our beautiful home! It has exceeded our expectations in every way and is truly a work of art. Charles is an outstanding builder and is extremely knowledgeable about the construction process, building materials, managing subcontractors, and getting the job done as fast as possible without sacrificing quality. He tells it like it is and his advice during the construction project was always right on target. He knows his stuff! We worked on our construction plan for over a year to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. Once we received our building permit, Charles was onsite the next day and his army of contractors sprang into action. We poured our slab on March 24th and received our Certificate of Occupancy on July 23rd … Amazing! Thus far, we have been in our new house for 3 months and have had zero issues. We received our first full utility bill and it was $196 … for a two story, four bedroom house!!!! We had to double check it to make sure that it was not a mistake. The house Charles built for us is more energy efficient than the 1000sqft condo we were renting while our house was being built. Great job! Charles Martin is the only person I would trust to build my family home. In fact, this is the second house that Charles Martin has built for us. It’s a pleasure to work with him and I would highly recommend him to build your next home.

Charles built our house 8 years ago and we love it. Charles and his employees demonstrated expertise and professionalism through out the entire building process. And they were always available when we had questions or wanted to meet. This is one of the advantages to hiring a boutique custom builder. We wanted numerous built in bookcases, dressers, shoe racks and other custom items, and the craftsmanship was very high quality. Our experience with Charles Martin Custom Homes definitely rates an A+. And Charles is so easy to work with that the building process is actually fun. If we ever build again Charles will be the builder we choose.

We signed the contract for the townhome in Nov 2013. The townhome was completed with punchlist items and we moved into the townhome in June 2014. It is now February 2015 (8 months later) and about 1/3 of the punchlist items are still not completed. The punchlist items are minor such as filling in a hole on a bathroom limestone countertop where they over drilled an opening for a faucet, installing or repairing chalking throughout the home where it was never installed or is already separated in the kitchen countertop/backsplash and on wood stairs, staining a shoe mold on floor that was not done, etc. Otherwise, we are happy with the home construction and design.

I like working with Charles Martin. His homebuilding experience and knowledge really makes a difference when putting together all the pieces of the building process. I always thought building a custom home would be overwhelming, but Charles' great attitude let us feel like everything was possible and we had nothing to worry about. He worked with us to meet our budget concerns and made sure we moved in on time, which was important to us. We were overwhelmed with joy when we walked through the house that first time, as we could not believe all the little details we labored over so hard in choosing were now reality. It is just beautiful and completely overwhelming that it is our custom home! We could not have done it without him. Thank you Charles Martin Homes! (We really really love the stone driveway, walkway and stairs. Exquisite work!)
