A memory facility was not something she could afford, and we wanted her to have reliable care from those who loved her most, but having her move into out 2,000 square foot home was not an option, because it was too small. Since we loved our location and lot, it just made sese to build onto our current home instead of moving. Then came the challenge of finding a builder that not only understood new construction, but how the new part and the old part of the house should come together.
