We could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Michael Turner and Classic Urban Homes to build our new house. From the initial consultation to the final handover, every step of the process was marked by professionalism, close attention to detail, and a desire to fulfill all of our requirements and requests. The foundation was poured in January and we moved into the finished house in early October, much faster than we expected. The Classic Urban Homes team—Michael, Misty, and Julio—worked closely with us to tailor every element of the house to our liking while staying within the budget. In many instances, Michael suggested features we had not even thought of, and the result is a house that exceeds our expectations in every way. Michael steered us to vendors he has worked with for many years to help us make the countless decisions that go into building a house—lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bathroom tiles, flooring, countertops, appliances, and landscaping. The vendors were professional and attentive, and they made our task of choosing the products stress-free and fun. Since we have moved in, Classic Urban Homes continues to check in with us periodically to ensure everything is functioning smoothly and any issues are promptly addressed. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and their willingness to stand by their work give us immense peace of mind. Building a home had been on my bucket list for years. After seeing a friend's house that was built by Classic Urban Homes, we decided to go for it. From the outset, we were very impressed by Michael's experience level, his knowledge base and the seamless process he had put in place for his clients. Each challenge we faced, (and yes, there will always be some challenges) Michael stepped up with a calm demeanor, creative solution and quick wit to work through any issue. Both he and his seasoned crews were skilled, accommodating and a delight to work with. His partner, Jane, worked diligently to keep us apprised of and on track with the budget. She was also a tremendous asset for design resources and tips. As opposed to the previous horror stories I had heard about building, I don't think we could have had a more enjoyable experience. Every morning I wake up and wonder when I'll stop marveling at the beauty surrounding me in our new home. It hasn't happened yet.

Where we had to do "value engineering" on features or finishes, or when items went out of stock, they came back to us with amazing, well-thought out alternatives and creative solutions. Their experience helped us make smart choices, and move quickly.

We have built two homes with Michael Turner and Classic Urban Homes and we would recommend them to anyone. Building a home is usually one of the most stressful endeavors most people will undertake. It pays huge dividends to have a talented, experienced and trustworthy builder like Michael to partner with. He is particularly good at executing a modern design while offering the best value possible. I like to say he just "gets it." We would look forward to bulding again with Michael.

There are a 1000 decisions to be made when building a custom home. The most important of these is the builder. Choosing Classic Urban Homes was the best decision we could have possibly made. I would have probably had a nervous breakdown if I didn't know Michael was there to take of every detail I could think of. You know he is hands-on there to take of things. Every question I could think of was answered well and quickly. After a while you no longer sweat the details because you know Michael already is. There are many quality builders in Dallas, but I don't think anyway can deliver as much value as Michael. It doesn't matter if your budget is $500,000 or $2m, you will get more quality for your dollar with Classic Urban Homes. We are like several before us. We will gladly show our home to his potential customers, because he deserves it.
