I always loved Jeff Hindman’s comment about their role in the manifestation of design. He says delivery trucks dump a bunch of materials in the driveway and their job is to make something beautiful out of them. Cottonwood has a persistence and follow through to make something at the end that we are all very proud of. They are true co-creators.

We selected Cottonwood Custom Builders as the contractor for a new build in Boulder, Co. and they delivered an exceptional house to us. Cottonwood provides excellent work, they have great subcontractors and they are intent on making efficient, green-build, tight envelope constructions. The whole construction took a year, which we were thought was quite a feat in the current construction market in our area. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a energy efficient high quality custom build.

Cottonwood built a house for my family. Although we lived in Boston at the time and could not easily travel to Boulder, Cottonwood made the process easy. They were reliable and capable and they built a great house with quality materials and workmanship. As important, Cottonwood has been responsive post construction and we consider our relationship with them long-term., should we need additional work in the future. We have recommended Cottonwood many times over the past few years and will continue to do so. The project was on budget and on time. Finally, Cottonwood's people are great to deal with on a personal level.

Scope was to finished out a basement, including excavation of one side and addition of windows in concrete wall, and add 2-level addition to existing house. Construction was done on budget and on schedule; and construction and finish work wereall very high quality. Only weakness was drainage design--gutters flowed to french drain, which plugged quickly, so roof runoff had to be re-routed; and surface drainage did not divert flow adequately from the house.
