Purchasing a Covington home has been such a wonderful experience from the team to the quality of our home! We have purchased numerous homes in various states including new, custom, and resale and by far this purchase was one of the smoothest transactions. Our home is just beautiful with so many unique features and all Covington team has made us feel so welcome and are happy to help with any questions or concerns. From the home to the experience it all exceeded our expectations, and the floor plan is perfect. I would highly recommend purchasing a home from Covington Homes, they are an amazing private builder!

I highly recommend Covington Homes for your next home purchase. The quality of finishes and workmanship are above the average compared to some builders I have experience with. From start to finish attention to detail was excellent, followup quick and efficient. An allover great homebuilding experience.
It is difficult to find and keep people who are good at what they do and dependable, but Covington has a history of finding and keeping good people, which speaks volumes for the work environment the Covingtons have in place.
A Covington home is well worth your investment.

We bought through Covington in Banning Lewis. We were given timelines from the sales team and project manager on multiple occasions which ended up being wrong. Management and the owner stated no dates like that are supposed to be given until certain points in the project even though they were. Communication is very bad from the sales team and management. Overall, The houses are beautiful when completed but I wouldn't recommend due to TERRIBLE communication throughout the process and customer service is severely lacking.

You have made statements both verbally and in writing that it is your intention to cause harm to Covington Homes by posting harmful ‘reviews’ if you do not receive a payment for something that is not owing under the Contract. Demanding that our company pay you a certain amount of money in exchange for not proceeding with negative reviews is not acceptable behavior, and has a legal definition. If you believe there is a dispute that needs to be resolved, then there is a way to seek resolution as outlined in the contract. However, Covington Homes has not breached the contract, nor has failed to perform. And Covington Homes has delivered for you a beautiful new home.
Ownership has the utmost confidence and faith in our management and employee's abilities to communicate with you effectively and to address your concerns. Ms. Martin has done an effective job thus far communicating to ownership your concerns and your frustrations. From what we have read in your written statements you believe you were told something other than what Covington Homes has communicated to you both verbally and in writing, and in the Real Estate Purchase and Sale agreement. Covington Homes is not making any claim regarding what you believe to be what you think you have heard, Covington Homes is notifying you that our timelines and standard of performance are spelled out in the Contract documents. And it is always our intention to abide by the Contract and perform per the Contract.
Covington Homes communicates to our buyers current estimated build times from permit, and then relies on our buyers to make informed decisions accordingly. Covington Homes treats all of our customers consistently and with the same level of care and consideration, regardless of price point or situation. And Covington Homes does not go outside of its contracts with our buyers.
If there was a conversation had between you and one of our employees that you feel was had incorrectly, you have our apology - as our team knows what the contract clearly specifies, what our standards of performance are, and what our company policies and protocols are. However, no commitments were made by Covington Homes of a guaranteed build time. That is nowhere to be found in our contract documents, and has never been a policy of Covington Homes. In fact, Covington Homes has been consistent over the years in clearly explaining that we do not guarantee build times, and we do not set close dates until after drywall (that is why it is specified in our contract). And we have been consistent in updating our estimated build timelines bi-annually (and even quarterly) as changes and variations in the labor, materials, and commodities markets emerge- please reference the attached you signed acknowledging this. Covington Homes has likewise been consistent in communicating with our buyers when we experience such unforeseen circumstances (also spelled out and included in section 11 of the General Contract Provisions) when they happen.
We understand that building a new home can be stressful, and in particular building a new home in 2020 during a global pandemic- even more so. And regardless of the few weeks delay, Covington Homes has been able to build for you and deliver to you a new home that will stand the test of time. It is most fortunate that this has been the case and that the construction of the new home we are building for you was allowed to proceed forward during this pandemic (since construction and infrastructure was determined essential). And regardless of the challenges that Covington Homes (and ALL builders) continue to face as a result of the pandemic, build times have not been extremely far off from the estimated projections. While I can appreciate that we ALL are growing weary of COVID-19 as an ‘excuse’ for what is happening in the world today, it is still unfortunately with us and not going away anytime soon. The sooner the better, but we cannot control that. The home we built for you was put on as fast a track schedule as possible given our limitations, and special attention was paid to the construction of the home.
Our construction team and our trade partners are worked diligently to ensure that the home we built for you was completed with the same level of quality and attention to detail that we provide all of our customers. The home was punched, a QA Walk performed prior to your homeowner orientation, and you were provided a sneak peak prior to the closing. Our customer care team will ensure that any warranty items will be addressed as promptly as possible. NOTE that we are still catching up with our warranty backlog due to the shutdown in March and April and beginning of May from COVID-19. However, you will receive prompt communication if you have any requests.

I just built a Covington Home in 2019 and this would be my 3rd New Build from the ground up in Colorado Springs over the time I have lived here. Of course this process if very stressful but I can honestly say that Covington made it a great experience! This is our forever home, and it is the best to date that I have ever built. From the quality of the build, to all of the features we were able to have in our home, we are very happy and are enjoying our house! I would recommend this builder to anyone looking for a new build.

I purchased a Ron Covington home in Wildwood Ridge in 2013. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the quality job that Covington Homes did in building my home. They were timely in addressing all punch list items and filled my home with lots of little touches I loved. In 4.5 years of home ownership, I only had to make two minor repairs. I had a fabulous first time buying (and building) experience because of the quality work of Covington Homes. And because they stand by their work, Covington Homes was also there for me when I had to sell my home. The buyer’s home inspection identified something, and Covington Homes (Grace Covington) helped us work with the Regional Building Authority to research the item and even though it was within code, they referred me to Elite Drywall to make the minor adjustment for the buyer’s peace of mind. Thank you Covington Homes and Grace Covington for a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Covington Homes built a beautiful home, and were fantastic to work with throughout the process. They kept us informed, met all dates, stayed within the budget, and delivered a move-in ready home. Grace Covington walks the home a few weeks before closing, and makes sure the home is perfect. I highly recommend them because they offer wonderful, current floor plans with many upgrades included in the base price, and were great to work with through the process. The sales staff, superintendent, and everyone associated with Covington Homes were all conscientious and made the experience of building so special and personal. I am a realtor with 20 years experience who has worked with many builders.
