I worked with Chris Mills with CR Mills Construction on a residential remodel project through the design process. He is a great team player, fun to work with and an expert in quality construction. He was very responsive to clients needs to value engineer to get the project on budget. He is a great collaborator and trustworthy. As an architect, I would recommend him for future projects.

Chris and his team have worked an two different projects for me, including an extensive remodel of my master bedroom and bath. I would hire him again in a second. The design was fairly exacting, and Chris did a remarkable job at not only realizing the design, but making it better along the way. He is an advocate for quality, and bring a remarkable eye to detail to his work. He brought in contractors who were equally careful and precise. I'm picky as $#!& and a major fan. He found creative (and elegant) solutions to seemingly intractable problems & made sure we got great value for money. Chris's business model and his focus on quality actually saved us money in the end. There were a number of change orders - driven mostly by our taking advantage of the great craftspeople he had assembled. Both his timeline and revised budgets were clear. The only surprises in the end were pleasant ones. Honest - exacting - dedicated to quality. I recommend him enthusiastically.

Hesitate to write a review only because I’d rather not share Chris. Always first class work from start to finish. Perfectionist with a strong sense for design as well as mastery his craft.

Chris Mills haas done extensive work for me at my home. He completed a huge 3 level IPE wood deck. Installed Hallmark hardwood flooring in guest suite, and hardwood stairwell with a beautiful handrail. He built custom fences and screens. Installed new double Mahogany front doors and re did all the doors in the 3 story house, including all new hardware. He completed beautiful cabinetry work. Interior and exterior painting. Those are a few of the aspects of my project that CR Mills completed at our home. Chris is a professional who has extensive experience and understands the codes and all applications of construction. He is honest, dependable, amiable, creative and simply a true craftsman. Feeling fortunate to have had him transform our home. We love it and highly recommend CR Mills Construction.
