David James Homes

David James Homes built our 1800 sq ft house. The process was easy; the quality very good; and interactions and communications were pretty seamless. They were very sensitive to our budget, and went out of their way to let us customize our project. We are very happy with the end result, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to build a home.

David James built a home for us this year. We love it and feel it is superior in quality and workmanship to the cookie cutter homes in some subdivisions. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and responded quickly to calls or questions. I was pleased with the amount of choices we had for fixtures, flooring and cabinetry. What I especially love is the warranty - they are still there for you after the home is complete.

My wife and I are very pleased with the experience we had building our first home with David James. I would have liked a little more insight in the planning phase. We discussed with the sales rep on several occasions about wanting to finish the basement. After the the house was completed, we realized that we should have raised the basement walls several inches to accommodate for the flooring etc. While we should have thought of this, I fee like the folks with the experience should have caught it. All in all this was my one chief complaint. The folks were all friendly and helpful. We put in our own cabinets and flooring and they were willing to shift their work schedules to accommodate us. The base products for finishing were of quality and the upgrades did not add that much to the price. If I had to do it again, I would go with David James, no doubt.
