I contacted Dawol Homes about all of my doors leaking several times since I moved into my house. I ended up replacing 2 of the doors due to wood rot and one that was damaged due to termites right after I moved in. The house was never treated until after I moved in. I now have bait traps in the yard. The doors were not properly sealed with silicone causing them to leak from the bottom. I received damage to the baseboards and to my flooring downstairs. I paid $1331.84 to have these doors replaced. I asked Dave to cover the doors and I would cover the labor. While Dave could have gotten the doors at a lower price he did not have to pay the labor to have them installed. The flooring downstairs was damaged due to the back door leaking on and off depending on how often it rained and how heavy. Dave agreed to replace the flooring when we met on June 2nd 2017 but would not cover the doors. As part of the agreement he wanted me to take down a review that I put up on www.yelp.com. This should not be part of an agreement. The flooring cost me $4111.74. Plus they will charge to take up the old flooring. I also had several pieces of siding crack that I attempted to repair and repaint the front of the house and the one side. Dawol Homes did come out and replace the siding. The HOA is now requiring me to repaint the exterior. The painter is charging me $3500. I told Dave I would handle the painter even though the damage was from the siding being installed too tight. His siding guys told me this. If we are unable to resolve these issues I have already contacted the court and received the proper paperwork to go to court. I feel I am being extremely reasonable by paying for the painters and the labor on the doors. Dave needs to take responsibility for the people that did the work on my house. If I end up paying for new flooring that puts me spending nearly $10000 out of pocket for improper installations. I would check out other builders. This guy has been very unreasonable in dealing with my issues.
the project was done to my specifications and the project manager was eay to work with and he was available to speak to about any issues changes or concerns anytime of day. My Revisions and changes were reviewed thoroughly so there were no surprises and the project turned out beautiful. would use them again and have refer them to others
