I worked with Eric and he was very professional. He always returned my phone calls, always showed up on time, listens very well and is a great communicator. He is very knowledgeable regarding construction, has a high skill level in building and doing things right the first time. He shored up a sagging porch, he built new louvers for my raised house, he installed Azec boards for the front and back porch, build new handrails and spindles for the front porch, replaced the supports on the back porch with better material, installed stainless (horizontal) cable on the rear porch, installed a state of-the-art porch screen system, plus other work.. Eric's dad, Bill, came by on several occasions to check on the progress and there never was an issue. He permitted the job with the town of Mt Pleasant, and they passed & approved his work, with no changes required. I am glad I chose Design Builders, Inc. because Bill & Eric were great to work with on my house upgrades.

This company truly lives up to it’s name! During construction we wanted some unusual changes made to our fireplace, pantry, master bedroom & bath, and this builder was more than happy to accomplish our requests. Whenever we wanted to meet with them at the job site to go over any questions we had, they were available and there in a timely maner. My husband and I highly recommend this builder to help you build and design your new home!

We are very pleased with the house Design Builders built for us here in Charleston. It was quite easy dealing with Bill Douglas and his sons. While the house was being built we lived 600 miles away, so they kept us informed of the progress. Also, and very importantly, phone calls were quickly returned if no one was in the office when I made the call. I have no problems recommending Design Builders and would use them again to build a house.

Design Builders built a beautiful house for us. Project Manager, Eric, was on-site most days to oversee work. He was great to work with on the project. It would have been a five star review, however, it took much longer to build than expected.
