Dillard-Jones Builders

Building my house with Dillard Jones right now. I am building on Johns Island in South Carolina. I have four words to describe my experience so far....HONESTY, INTEGRITY, COMMUNICATION, DETAIL. Such a fabulous experience many months in and I am a pretty high maintenance client. I notice everything and had a previous bad build experience with another builder in Florida. I have never been so impressed and relaxed during the build of my dream home with Dillard Jones. Everyone on the team is kind, respectful, responds right away and gives great guidance. They are new to the Charleston area and have been wonderful. I hope to call them friends after they finish my home. They have been a delight but more important is their competence as a build team. The CEO is wonderful and his team is committed, smart, creative, and just a pleasure to interact with. I can't say enough wonderful things about our project manager Doyle. Luke, Lyra, Johnny, Tom, Kalyn, Valerie, Susan have all been a delight. Just hire them. They care. They are also on time.....with the build. The vendors they use are competent and wonderful. We have built several homes before in other places and Dillard Jones is by far the best builder we have ever worked with.

From concept to delivery Dillard Jones astonished us with their attention to detail and the highest quality execution. They are in the business of making dreams come true and with the design and construction of our house, they exceeded our wildest dreams. They finished on schedule and within budget while making us feel like part of the Dillard Jones family.

My husband and I have built many homes over the years, and have worked with several architects and builders. We can honestly tell you that we think the Dillard Jones team is excellent. Dillard-Jones understands the importance of the relationship with us, vendors and workers. They also greatly understand the agreed budget and work diligently to manage from within the budget. We selected Dillard-Jones Builders to design and build our custom home on Lake Keowee, and we are happy to say we made the right decision. Our house was completed in April, 2016, and far exceeded our expectations. Dillard-Jones was creative, responsive and flexible throughout. We worked closely together via skype and email to develop an initial design, but were able to make a number of significant changes during construction (like the addition of a golf simulator and indoor endless pool). They have a well-deserved reputation for delivering a very high quality product, partly due to their fully engaged team and partly due to the top-notch contractors they use. The flooring, tile, A/V, cabinetry, stone and iron work was done by local craftsmen who really take pride in their work. Last but not least, Dillard-Jones has been exemplary in addressing the few issues we've encountered post-handover. We highly recommend them to anyone building a house in the Greenville-Asheville area.

We are going to be building our home with Dillard Jones. The professional team they have put together is outstanding. From conception to design and completion they are a strong team.

Dillard-Jones Builders (Tom Dillard) and his team were selected by my wife and I from a group of 40 builders when building our retirement home. We researched the final 5 builders thoroughly, interviewed them, solicited their ideas for our site plan, and considered their pre/construction/post build services. Dillard-Jones met our expectations and continues to do so today years after our home was completed in October of 2008. Creativity, quality, full service, cost/price/value, are all words or phrases that come to mind when we reflect on our Dillard Jones experience. We'd build with them again in the future.

As a retired home builder from Naples, Florida, I searched for a comparable high-end, quality builder to build my retirement home in a Cliffs Community, north of Greenville, SC. Fortunately, I found Dillard/Jones! Tom Dillard and staff (especially his Interior Designer, Susan) build my home to my, and his, demanding specifications. All of the aspects of construction went smoothly... the timing... the quality... and the fair pricing. Tom's education, his Mechanical Engineering degree from Clemson also influenced my decision. Also, as my wife and I now agree, the home Dillard/Jones built is a little larger than we now want for the future; so, we are going to downsize.
