“I had a lot of projects I needed done on my 115 year-old home. I called a lot of Construction Companies in the Duluth area. The only one that could fulfill all of my needs was Diser Construction. James Diser and I sat down and talked about what all that entailed. He explained everything that would be done thoroughly, what materials would be used and when my projects would be done. The first thing I needed done was replacing my crumbling front steps. James gave me the estimate. They came out when they said they would and they did a fantastic job. My steps look great and my neighbors have told me so. One thing that impressed me was that they picked up completely after themselves. Next thing to be done was a new roof. James and I had spoken about what needed to be done and he informed me as to what was going to happen with the roof. I was kept in the loop during the whole project. Again, they came out when they said they would and they worked until almost after dark each night to get the job done. My roof looks terrific. There were no financial surprises and the estimate that James had given me was accurate. The men that work for Diser were friendly, respectful and diligent. Diser will be re-siding my entire house this coming summer. I am very excited about it, and how my 'new house' will look knowing what great work Diser Construction has done for me. “We have built 2 houses and have done extensive remodeling on these and other homes we have owned. J&R Sundberg has done two other projects for us in the past two years; a fireplace for our living room and a pergola on our deck. We were delighted with their work so there was no question who we would use to do a much larger project for us. This fall we hired them to build a large garage for working on antique cars. We have never experienced the level of professionalism, talent and sense of ownership on the part of the entire team that we have found with them. From the first meeting with Ray and working closely with Ty the process has been amazing. Their use of Co-Construct, a start to finish app that coordinates all aspects of communication regarding the project, makes the process go like clockwork. Questions can be answered; bids, change orders, and finishes can be approved without the usual game of phone tag; progress and activity can be tracked and daily photos of the project are shared. The project started the 28th of October and we were scheduled to be complete on the 8th of January. The only reason the schedule was not met was because we had 2 feet of snow Thanksgiving weekend followed by truly nasty weather a week later. It is the 12th of January as I write this and we are moving the Model T’s in today. The roof goes on on Wednesday. The stucco and the grading of the site will have to wait until spring but otherwise everything is complete. I, literally, have NEVER written a review of anything and that speaks volumes about how thrilled we are to have worked with J&R Sundberg.”
