Elite Homes team of professionals helped us design our dream home. We are relocating from out of state and had a week in Louisville to make our decision. Taylor Steffen guided us through the whole process and in a matter of days we found a lot, picked a home design, and met in the amazing design center to pick out amazing finishings. Knowing others who have chosen Elite Homes gives us complete confidence in the final product quality.

Our home in the Twin Lakes neighborhood is very low in quality. I've honestly lost track of how many issues we've had. Nearly every major system in the house has given us problems: plumbing, electrical, foundation, flooring, etc. The latest issue is a leaky basement. During heavy rain we've actually had water enter and drip from our electrical cabinet. When I contacted Elite about this issue I was told that I shouldn't be concerned about water in the electrical cabinet. There have been several issue that could were so unsafe that someone could have been seriously injured or worse

Edit- our issues have since been resolved. We had a rough start in our new home but feel now they did what was right to fix it. We were impressed with our new home and the customer service- until we moved in. After closing we noticed water running into the basement through the ceiling. The project manager told me it was the dishwasher and he’d try to contact his appliance guy, but I should call GE myself and go through the warranty department. He was then unresponsive, as was the realtor over the homes when I asked for follow up. Two weeks later GE game out and said the dishwasher was fine and it wasn’t. At present time it’s been 3 weeks without a fix. I even asked if we could receive a credit and buy one ourselves and then didn’t email back. This is just one issue. A semi truck the builders were using ran through our front yard before close and it wasn’t repaired. I even have photos as I watched him do it. Our water heater wasn’t set right upon install and we went weeks without hot water till the plumber could come and fix it. We still don’t have a code to get in the clubhouse and it turns out it’s been closed since March and they neglected to tell us. We didn’t get our trash cans which is handled by the HOA for weeks even after we asked several times. Other than those issues we are happy with how our home looks and the construction so far seems very sound.

My wife and I chose Elite Built Homes for our 1st home build project. We worked with Jeff Gaul who was amazing from start to completion of the home. Jeff is very knowledgeable, informative and most importantly honest. Every word Jeff said was accurate and their were never any surprises. He guides you through the process and makes what could be a stressful process into a very enjoyable one. Jeff was always responsive to any question I had and worked extremely hard to make sure my questions were answered.
