A family business started by Steve Hamblen over a decade ago, Fairview Custom Homes has designed and crafted some of the finest homes in upstate South Carolina and Eastern North Carolina. Fairview is a design and build firm in the Cliffs Communities, Lake Keowee and the Upstate of South Carolina, and we specialize in one-of-a-kind luxury homes. Founder Steve Hamblen began home building in 2004, after years of engineering experience in the Midwest where he ran several successful companies that are still in business today. Steve made it his goal to combine his entrepreneurial skills with a higher level of construction quality in the residential construction industry previously unknown in this region. As a 6-year board member of the Federation of American Scientists in Washington, DC, Steve's enthusiasm for science and business alike help him creatively adapt to the economic challenges that home builders and homeowners feel from time to time. With the help of his sons, Chris and Drew, Fairview has become one of the top home builders in The Cliffs Communities and upstate South Carolina. I highly recommend Fairview Custom Homes, LLC. Fairview recently completed remodeling and renovation work in our home in The Reserve at Lake Keowee. Our experiences with their Senior Project Manager, Michael Travelstead, and their Director of Renovations, Korey Smith, were extremely positive. We were very pleased with their interpersonal and communication skills as well as their overall coordination of the project. Korey did a fantastic job of working with the subcontractors to find ways to keep our costs at or under budget. We also had the opportunity to meet Chris Hamblen, the General Contractor, and Drew Hamblen, the Managing Member, on several occasions. It was clear that they were both willing to put in the long hours and hard work to protect their company's reputation for honesty, integrity and quality work. Although our project was a small one in the overall scheme of their homebuilding projects, everyone in the company always made us feel that our project was a top priority. I would contract with them again in a heartbeat and I will highly recommend them to my friends.

What a project! When my wife and I decided it was time to design and build our new custom home in the upstate of South Carolina, we looked no further than Fairview Builders. We had a challenging build site on the side of a small mountain overlooking a golf course, and needed a builder with the experience our job demanded. The project was a little over 5,000 square feet and was packed with brilliant architectural details and finishes, but also very complicated construction details. The Fairview team understood our vision, and assembled a great team of contractors and suppliers to successfully execute a masterpiece. We would highly recommend Fairview Builders to anyone embarking on building there dream house.

I had hired Fairview Builders to build a custom home down at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls and I could not be more excited with the results. The entire team at Fairview was great to work with and the experience from 800 miles away was as easy as it comes. They kept me informed and up to date with pictures, calls and emails. The home has exceeded my expectations in every way. I cannot say enough great things about Fairview Builders.
