He helped us stay on budget and paid attention to the details. He is very professional. We have had several other friends use him to build their house or do a remodel and he has maintained those relationships, which tells you that they are happy with the results.”

    “I'd planned on having a home built for years , but had always heard the horror stories of how big a hassle it can be. Thomas & Tanya of OZ Homes, (formally Loreto Homes) put those concerns behind me. They were great at explaining the process to me in layman's terms, so I knew what was going on, And as I was still living and working in Kansas City, I could not come down that often during the week to monitor progress, but they kept me updated via phone, text and photos. If I found any miscues in the construction (which were few and minor) it was usually caught by them and being corrected before I could even point it out. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome and I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

    “Scott has the perfect personality, demeanor, interpersonal skills, and design intelligence to manage your house building project. We are in the final phases of our house build, and we have been a pretty high-maintenance customer for sure. We have had an unusually high level of involvement in our project, stopping at the site multiple times a week for hours on end. Scott has always taken the time to address our concerns and waited patiently as we debated the minor differences in trim styles, for example. LOL! We have had some pretty particular requests for our house design, and Scott just always says, “Just send me a photo and we’ll make it happen.” His common sense approach, practical problem solving skills, and work ethic are what have made this project move forward when it could’ve stalled. Because we have been at the work site very often and for long periods, we have gotten to see the quality of the work and how Scott interacts with the contractors he hires. He is respectful but has high expectations and isn’t afraid to ask a contractor to re-do something that isn’t up to snuff. Scott values doing things *right* above self preservation, which is refreshing in this industry! At the same time, I feel like he is fair to all parties involved. What I value most is I haven’t EVER felt that I had to question Scott and Amanda’s motives and integrity. Truth be told, we have gone to church with them for years, so we had the benefit of knowing them as friends before hiring them. Their impeccable ethics and honesty were the main reasons why we hired them to build our dream home. We simply couldn’t hire someone to take on such an important and expensive project who hadn’t first earned our trust. Scott and Amanda, please accept a huge thanks from our family.     “When we were planning to build our home we interviewed and received bids from several builders. It was clear from our initial meeting that Terry was the contractor we were going to work with. He wasn't the cheapest, but we felt he was the best for our customized home requirements. His personal, hands on management style and the great relationship he had with past clients was clear when he took us to see 4 other homes he had built. Each of the homes were beautiful and as we asked specific questions Terry knew every detail about each home. Clearly he managed the details closely. Fortunately, we were able to visit with the homeowner’s during our visits. Each client was happy to see Terry and to share with us the results of their collaboration. It was clear that his past clients still had a good relationship with Terry and each of them told us about Terry’s expertise, approach to their project and the attributes that made him a good fit for building their home. We wanted to be very involved in our custom project and Terry was patient and worked with us every step of the way. We made changes to the scope, many of them, but it didn't bother Terry. He'd smile and always said OK, and then proceeded to provide ideas and alternatives to achieve our objective. One of the biggest things about working with Draper Construction is Terry’s honesty and integrity. He demonstrated these qualities early on and throughout the project. Since we live in another state, it was comforting to know we could trust and rely on Terry to watch out for our best interest. Another benefit to working with Terry is the fact that he is an expert builder. Knowing that he had extensive hands on experience, he started as a framer, made us comfortable that we’d not only have a beautiful home but one that was structurally sound as well. His expertise proved critical when we considered and ultimately made some pretty significant changes to the architects design. Throughout the project Terry was an excellent communicator via text, email or calls and he made himself available to provide updates or to answer questions we had. In the end, our home was delivered on schedule and within the agreed upon budget. Ultimately, we believe Terry was actually less expensive than the other bidders based upon the value we received, the personal attention to detail and the benefits associated with doing things right the first time. We highly recommend Terry and if we have an opportunity to work with him again we surely will.”

    “Our new home is beautiful & well built. The cabinets & built ins are hand made & excellent quality workmanship. The trim, crown molding, wood floors, vaulted ceiling with beams, tile work, fireplace, granite counters through out are so elegant. Most people who have seen it are blown away by the closets. The landscaping is beautiful, too. This house was built for handicap accessibility & done well. My only complaint is the brickwork which the owner has promised to have fixed when he has brick layers in our area soon. He is going to have different brick layers clean up the rough areas. The builder/owner is such a pleasant man to work with. He went above and beyond to make me happy with my home, especially the handicap features. If not for the brickwork I would have rated this 5 stars.”
