I am extremely please with Ferrier Custom Homes. Major renovations were made to a 60+ year old home. After initial planning, a major storm caused major damage when a large tree fell on the house. The Ferrier team was able to accommodate all adjustments to project scope, schedule, and budget. Services included Design Concepts, Permits, Planning, Budgeting and Scheduling. Communication was excellent and all questions and concerns were addressed immediately. The quality of work and attention to detail was refreshing and as work progressed regular “walk throughs” were conducted to ensure complete satisfaction throughout the project. Recommendations were made concerning materials and design that improved the overall project. I am currently planning additional work with Ferrier Custom Homes and recommend them highly based on their experience and knowledge. I have received all positive comments from friends and neighbors on their beautiful work.

Great design and build team. It’s a family business so they worked closely with us and made sure everything got done right. They paid attention to detail and very reliable. We just did phase 1 of a 3 part remodel and we were very satisfied. I wish we had the budget for a custom build a new home because having seen their new projects, they’re incredible. They specialize in modern green homes and condos. The owner Don comes out for the initial consultation.

I had an excellent experience with Ferrier Custom Homes. I selected Ferrier specifically because I wanted an energy efficient home with a modern look. Before signing on, I was able to meet a former client and see his house. Building a custom home is filled with so many variables. Many things do not go according to plan, however I found that Don and his team repeatedly educated me on the process and set my expectations. It is a huge undertaking to coordinate the design and then the construction of a custom home and I marveled at how well the Ferrier team did their jobs. I found the entire team to be 1) organized 2) prompt 3) extremely knowledgeable and 4) honest. I believe their pricing is fair and reasonable and the quality of the work was very good. I could not have asked for a better experience. I have been in my home for over a year now and I am serious when I say that each day I say to one of my family members how much I love our house. Things I love: beautiful design, functional layout/floorplan, glass doors and windows (placed for prime lighting, energy efficiency and strategic air flow), solar panels, rainwater catchment system, safe room, interior and exterior paint, cabinet hardware & fixtures, shower glass & mirrors, modern and functional cabinets, energy efficient appliances, concrete flooring, 3 outdoor patio areas, modern lighting, beautiful landscaping…the list goes on and on. Ferries Custom Builders were professional, attentive to our needs, and flexible with schedules. They listened to our needs in building the most energu efficient home possible. In addition, the entire crew worked as a team to provide us with the home we desired.

Don Ferrier and his team did an outstanding job on our remodel. They worked with us and our architect to bring a 1964 mid century modern home back to life. They were very sensitive to our desire to keep the house true to its MCM style, while still making it much more energy efficient and feeling like a brand new house. The project grew and took twists and turns over time, and Don, Byron and Heather helped us feel in control of the situation the entire time by being extremely responsive and knowing how to handle whatever came up.

A great company with solid transparent business practices. The project turned out much better than we could've imagined. It was such a great solution to a growing family and now we have no need to move!

I highly recommend Ferrier Custom Homes. In 2014 we decided to jump head first into an extensive renovation of our house, which was built in 1955. Ferrier listened to us and offered solutions to many problems that we weren't sure would be resolved easily. They helped with structural upgrades such as, a new roof replacement for our low pitched and flat roof areas, as well as windows, exterior repairs and painting. On the interior of the house we gutted our 1955 kitchen that was in poor shape and added updated electrical, tankless water heater and they designed and built an absolutely stunning kitchen that is modern and retro just as we wanted. They were always professional, on time and kept us informed during what can be an unnerving process of having your house torn up while trying to live in it at the same time. I highly recommend Ferrier and we are very happy with the work that they did for us on our home.
