If you are considering building a home, I would highly recommend Frankel Building Group. The people here are clearly passionate about what they do and it shows through in countless ways. Our original home flooded and while weighing our options we met with Scott who helped put us at ease and simply provided additional facts to help us calculate our decision. We had never wanted to build a house, but after looking at our options that was what made the most sense for us. Once we were able to get through our neighborhood deed restrictions they were off to the races. We were kept up to date through calls, texts, emails and Builder Trend. Questions were generally responded to within 24 hours or faster. Anyone going into a home construction project is foolish if they think there will never be bumps in the road. We had a couple but they handled them like I would have hoped. They brought it to our attention, provided us with several options and we were able to get down the road. It was a really great experience. For people who are on the fence with hiring their own architect and general contractor I would strongly recommend the design/build process that Frankel provides. Unless you have built homes professionally in the past and know all of the ins and outs or have that much free time on your hands, let the professionals handle it. This helps avoid any miscommunications or finger pointing I have heard about with others. Our home is built on pier and beam now, but more importantly it is built on the foundation of service and reputation. This team delivered the house to the day that they said they would and with no cost overruns. I know that we made the right decision for us and think that others who go this route will feel the same way.

My wife and I have had a wonderful experience designing and building our custom house with the Frankel Building Group. Our initial meetings with the architects, including Rodney and Brad, were professional and pleasant and we felt listened to in that they made space for every detail we wanted in our home. We were especially impressed that the 3D rendering looked almost identical to our finished home. We loved having all the selections in one place at Ladco and also truly enjoyed working with Maggie at Ferguson; she guided us through the selection process and helped us choose lighting and hardware that truly complements our style and home. Finally, we cannot say enough good things about our project manager, Scott Evans. He has been personally involved with our home building from day one, is always available for questions or to coordinate any repairs or modifications we need, and is one of the best in the business. I consider myself very difficult to please and when an issue popped up, it was promptly fixed - no pushback, no questions asked. Scott Frankel was always available 24x7 and part of every critical decision. I have recommended the Frankel group to several friends looking to build and will continue to do so. I truly believe they are the best custom home builder in Houston.

Frankel did a very good job on our custom home. The seamless integration from their architect to the home designer and then to the construction process was a great experience. The design center with many of the custom features you would expect from a high end custom home builder reduced the amount of time needed to make selections, and ensured a good price on those selections. The LEED certification ensured that the home is extremely energy efficient and far more comfortable than any home I have ever visited or lived in. While construction always has its problems, Frankel was responsive to my concerns and was always easy to reach by phone or email, usually within 12 hours of my initial contact. As an engineer who knows how things should be done I know that I am a difficult client, and I would recommend Frankel to any of my friends/family.

I hired Frankel Building Group for complete management of construction for a new home in the Afton Oaks area of Houston. We completed the project in August of last year. They were extremely detailed in their work- including financial analysis, oversight of subcontractors, and communication with me. It is my pleasure to recommend and provide the highest recommendation for the Frankel Building Group. Our experience with the Frankel Building Group has been, and continues to be extremely positive. The entire Frankel Team is extremely professional in service and attitude. Our home building project was extremely large, including two homes, a pool, cabana and stables for our horses on a four acre site within the Houston city limits. When my husband and I decided to build a new home, we interviewed several people, and we chose Frankel Building Group. They were very easy to work with from Day 1. There estimates were accurate, and they finished the project on time. We received progress updates regularly, and when delays occurred, the project manager was quick to explain what was happening. FBG was very familiar with the building code in our neighborhood, so we had few issues with that. They also kept a very neat job site and had an excellent relationship with their subcontractors. We love our house--it's better than we dreamed it would be!

They are very good at selling their business, but helping and fixing home problems once you move in. They simply will say or do whatever it takes to close the property, but expect to see a different side to them once you close. Very unfriendly and distant. They are too busy to take time for your concerns once you are moved in. Would not recommend this builder based on their treatment of our family during the building process.

I can't say enough good things about working with Frankel Building Group team. I guess a good place to start would be with their countless awards, inlcuding Custom Builder of The Year several years in a row. After I met the guys, saw their quality of work, and I understood why! Rodney, their in-house designer, was so thoughtful in terms of how the house should sit on our land and very considerate when laying out the floorplan to fit our modern lifestyle. Although he designs more traditional houses and we prefer a modern aesthetic, he constructed a beautiful sleek and sophisticated exterior in the same vein of photos we had sent along. Then Brad made a 3D rendering of the house so we could see it from every angle and "walk" through it. Such a cool feature and made all the differnce when choosing exterior materials. Because we are building in Atlanta, FBG can't construct our house, but Scott Frankel has worked hand-in-hand with our builder to make sure it is built according to their standards and within our budget. The team went above and beyond to design our dream house. Along the way, they have been such a pleasure to work with, listening to all of our concerns and adpating to our edits. We truly enjoyed working with them and would recoommend them in a heartbeat!
