i built a home with Frontier Custom Builders last year and LOVE it! The craftsmanship is amazing and i loved being able to select everything during the build exactly how i wanted it. i would definitely recommend

I worked with Frontier and had a great experience! Everyone was so helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend!

Never answer the phone or call back. Every single thing you ask it is change order and it cost 5 times what it would get it done outside. Very upset with this guys. Also not very professional. Worst experience in my life.

Frontier is building my home. The owner DOES NOT respond to emails when there are questions or issues, DESPITE being reminded by his staff that he hasn’t responded. We sent an email on Nov 13, 2019 to discuss an issue we are having. 3 weeks later, no response. Wayne, if you are reading this, instead of calling to ask me to take down the review, call or email to resolve issues. This has not been a good experience, thank God he has some good people working for him.

We have hired Frontier Custom Builders to build our Custom Home for us. Note: This is our 3rd time building a custom home. We are currently at the point where the house is framed and the roof has just been put on. So far we are pleased with the progress and the company. Everything from the initial designing of the floorplan to being kept in the loop every week as to what has been accomplished has been wonderful.

Unfortunately, there is no Zero star from the choices above to properly be chosen for this company. The pictures below speak louder than words. It has been heart breaking and a nightmare for us dealing with Frontier for the past 5 years. We could not even begin to imagine the defects that we've discovered in a 5 years old house. We were certainly misled to believe their claim of quality workmanship at the beginning stages in the design of our custom $1.5 million home. We are hard working, honest parents to little children with limited time and believe in "If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all." However, our conscience told us we need warn other people about about Frontier as we would not want what happened to us to happen to another family.

We have been working with Frontier for over a year now and it has been quite the roller coaster ride. From friendly office staff to amateurish contractors, from impressive floor plans to substandard brickwork, we just don't know what to expect. Frontier appeared to have an impressive resume but we find they have difficulty in maintaining experienced staff. We are now on Project Manager #4. With every PM change there seems to be a list of errors or omissions that need to be corrected. Let's hope the finished product will have been worth the wait. Will update again as this project progresses.

My family hired Frontier Custom Builders to build my personal pool and outdoor space The experience was enjoyable and the work turned out great. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired this company to design/build us a custom home. I had reservations after our initial meeting as I felt that we were a bother to the owner but still went ahead and set up our first design session the next week. At that session I expressed my desire not to have the "typical" Texas home with all the curves and arches. We also expressed that we wanted to be in the home before the end of July. We were told that this was an aggressive timeline but that they would try to get us our designs before the first of the year (in 2 weeks) so I went ahead and put down a deposit. Almost 6 weeks later we were presented with our first floor plan design. I was shocked to see the kitchen island curved and numerous arches throughout the plan. I spend the next 5 weeks working with our designer to get the floor plan correct and to the get all of the design elements that I had expressed into the plans before we sat down to discuss the final cost to build the home we designed. Once again, I was shocked at the price for the home to be built. To build the as designed home it would cost us an additional $30 per square foot than we had budgeted. I had set a limit for this home and told them this in our first session and once again they did not listen. They tried to tell me that all the changes I made to the plans increased the price but when I asked if they could build the home from the first plans within our budget they could not commit to that either. We decided not to build this home and after documenting the overall process and my frustrations, the owner did refund me the entire design deposit. However, I would not and could not possible recommend this company in good faith to anyone. I only saw the owner in the first 2 visits and never again. He didn't even come down to discuss this when we were reviewing the budget at the office and they all knew I was upset. They do not listen and make false promises.
