We hired Sean Halsey, Halsey Homes for his professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge and open communication, meaning no surprises during the project. The project was to finish the basement and it had some challenges because of the age of the home. Sean used creative thinking and developed designs that worked with our vision of the finished project. Besides finishing the basement, the steps were replaced, the bathroom entrance was redesigned as well as the bathroom itself, hot water tank moved and new plumbing installed and upgraded electrical. He used quality materials, local venders and his crews are professionals. The project was completed on time and within the cost estimate. Sean is on site every day, providing specific instructions to the crew and inspecting the progress. He worked directly with and has an excellent rapport with the county inspectors and all inspections passed with ‘flying colors.’ All we did was sit back and watch our unfinished basement transform in to a beautiful living area. We are extremely pleased with the end results and we will hire Sean again for future projects.
