Horizon construction helped me successfully navigate a very sensitive rebuild of a large elevated driveway platform and deck that was built above it. I live in the canyons and had to permit directly with the county. After a long permitting process I can say confidently that Horizon Construction had my back and followed through. Very happy with the relationship I had with them and the result of the work once it was all finalized.

I contracted with Horizon Construction & Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, which included all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance installation, and lighting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager. I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests. The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions. The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!

We recently completed an extensive remodel of our home—new windows, fresh exterior paint, two fully updated bathrooms, new interior doors, upgraded flooring, and a complete transformation of our primary bedroom. We also appreciated the support from the office staff, who made communication smooth and easy throughout the project. Without question, we’ll be turning to Horizon Construction and Remodeling for Phase Two!

We first worked with Horizon Construction & Remodeling back in 2012 for our kitchen remodel, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. So when we finally saved up to do our master bathroom, there was no question—we went straight back to Horizon. Mark was our project manager, and we couldn’t have asked for better guidance. He has a true talent for design and helped us with every little detail—from picking the right materials and colors to making sure everything worked beautifully together. He has a great eye and the imagination to visualize exactly how the finished space will look, something we definitely needed help with! Before moving forward, we did get a second estimate, more as a formality after some advice from our financial advisor. But honestly, we already knew we wanted to go with Horizon. Their quality of work, reliability, and professionalism stood out then and still does now. Now we're already thinking about what project to tackle next—and when we’re ready, we’ll definitely be calling Horizon again!

We recently wrapped up a major renovation on our home with Horizon Construction, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The project included a complete overhaul of our kitchen, living room, and two hallways. The crew had to strip everything down to the studs to install new electrical, insulation, and a brand-new air conditioning system. One of the more complicated parts of the job involved removing a load-bearing wall in the living room. The engineering that went into installing a 14-foot beam was no small task, but Horizon Construction handled it like pros. A huge thank you to David Eskin, who initially worked with us as our designer and then stepped up as the project manager. David had some incredible design suggestions that made a real difference, and he kept all the different trades working together seamlessly. The project took a few months, which was expected for this scale of work, but the attention to detail and level of care were excellent. I highly recommend Horizon Construction and David Eskin to anyone planning a remodeling project — we’ll definitely be calling them for our next one.

We had a fantastic experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling. Every worker on the team was friendly, punctual and professional. They kept the work area clean and always cleaned up before leaving for the day, which we really appreciated. We were absolutely satisfied with the quality of work and the final results. This is our second project with Horizon Construction & Remodeling. They originally remodeled our primary bathroom. They did such an excellent job with that, so we brought them back to remodel our kitchen and upgrade our electrical panel. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but Mark helped walk us through our design. He made several suggestions that helped improve our design and function in the kitchen. The staff that did the work were extremely polite and professional. They cleaned up after each day of work and were overall respectful of our property. They showed up when they said they would be here. Not only does everything look great, but the quality is also wonderful! As our house was built in 1958, we did find problems with the plumbing for gas and water. We needed to replace all the lines, so we had the whole house replumbed. Horizon quickly pivoted and even with this substantial increase in scope, they finished our project on time. Excellent quality work and we breezed through the permit approval process. We would highly recommend Horizon Construction & Remodeling and are looking forward to beginning our third project with them very soon.

A friend referred me to David at Horizon in 2017 when a bathroom renovation/upgrade was required after car accident. His team miraculously converted a 1965 bathroom into a show room design with a beautiful walk-in shower. It’s a challenge with a one-bathroom condo but David & his team made it possible for me to stay in my home the entire time. He was always available by phone/text for even the smallest concern. I reached out to David again this year for repairs due to root damage from common area trees. Most of the damage was at the front of my house but I did ask David to remove the popcorn ceiling in my living/dining rooms where there was a crack in the middle of the condo. To match my new smooth ceiling, the living/dining rooms were painted to give a complete clean look. I purchased my front door which Horizon installed, and David selected the beautiful sliding glass/screen door. I was pleasantly surprised with the new technology and how easily they glide open. The team also replaced the front entry tile which I had previously purchased. Outside, a partial replacement of a fence, demo of old cracked patio, and new cement patio installed. I was told a brush technique was used so I wouldn’t slip if the patio was wet. What great enhancement! They even patched the old stucco and painted. It felt like a new home. Thanks to David and his team for their excellent work! You weren’t just completing a job; you were making a difference in my day-to-day life.

Working with Horizon Construction was a very positive experience. Initial discussions with David, my Project Manager, were creative and resulted in a beautiful Mediterranean design to transform the street-facing view of my house. Materials were high quality and sub-contractors were professional, friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. David assured that the project moved at a timely pace, visited often, kept me appraised of every step in the process, and was always responsive to my questions and concerns. David Eskin and his team at Horizon Construction & Remodeling are top notch! Everyone on his team had a task and did it very well. The ladies in the office were very helpful and Gisell Velasco kept us informed all throughout the project. The electrician team, drywall team and the tile person all did fabulous jobs. Most notably is Sal, the tile guy. His workmanship is top notch and we were very impressed with his eye for detail. We also have to give credit to the rest of the people that worked on the master bathroom project. The framers, the hot mop guy and the guys that completed all the finishing details. They all did their jobs well. Our custom vanity is absolutely beautiful. The custom color, vanity and linen towers look like pieces of furniture. The detailing and design were exactly what we requested. Also, a very big shout out to David Eskin, the project manager on the job. He always kept us updated on the project and if there was any small issue he dealt with it immediately. All in all, David and his team met all of our requests and the master bathroom looks beautiful.

We wanted to replace our windows in the back of the house with sliding doors, to open access to the backyard and make the family room brighter. After reviewing contractors for this project, I contacted Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and David helped us choose options for our project. When we eventually came to a design decision and materials [doors and decking] we moved forward. During the project David made himself available when questions came about, to help us understand what was to take place at the various stages in construction. He also took the time to understand our expectations as we went through the build of the project! The project met our expectations, and the doors are in harmony with the whole-house exterior design.
