“I’m writing to complement Mitch Keilman and his company Pelican Builders. My husband and I are residences in Somerset Green community. I have had the pleasure of working directly with Mr. Keilman on a construction project on my home. We had a pipe leak in our home, and he addressed our questions and and came by to evaluate the damage. Our house was not under warranty anymore since we have been in our home for over five years. We were aware that it was not under warranty. We just wanted to let the builder know what had happened. After the construction crew came that we had hired, we found out that a nail have gone through a water pipe during construction. Mr. Keilman responded immediately and we were told it was a structural issue and they would take care of it right away and would covered. They allowed us to continue with our licensed contractor we had chosen that was already on the job and stopped the leak. The job was finished within 4 working days. Scheduling within the construction industry is typically an art form in itself and Mr. Keilman has been able to effectively meet project schedule requirements, he was great with his communication and often came by to check on the progress He and Pelican builders have been able to quickly adapt to changes from other subcontractors in order to keep our schedule on time and aligned with the overall project schedule. In addition, the Pelican builders, new warranty manager, and construction managers has been exceptionally accommodating when dealing with unforeseen conditions and potential change orders. I cannot praise them enough! When we first moved into the Somerset community, we had some communication issues with one of their employees and they were quick to handle and rectify the situation.
