“Carl was just amazing from start to finish. I have had experience with a couple of Architects and Carl was a cut above them. Not only did he listen and work closely with us to get the design right; it was the little details in which he made the difference. Carl always had time for us. He always picked up the phone and answered every email. This is where others differed; they never seemed to have the time. We paid for Carl to manage the project and he was brilliant, he managed the builder well and was always on hand to be the 'middle man' whenever there was a slight issue. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will use him again the coming years for other projects.”

“We had for a number of years mulled over converting our old 18th century barn into our dream home by extending the attached tiny cottage through into the attached barn. The building is grade 2 listed so we were aware we needed a sympathetic approach to keep as many original features as possible. We had the builders lined up and knew roughly the layout we wanted but we needed a skilled architect to determine foundation levels, head heights due to beams etc and to put our plans on paper. Michelle was recommended to us by a retired building inspector. Michelle understood our brief from the start and the plans came together really quickly. Added to that we got planning approval on first submission so we couldn’t have been happier. Michelle works really well with local planning officers and conservation, she really understands what is needed to make the dream a reality whilst maintaining the heritage of a beautiful old building. I would recommend Michelle without a doubt. Even our builders commented on how thorough she was and they worked brilliantly as a team to get the project completed from planning to finished article in 12 months.”
