Ed Sabol and his staff worked wonders remodeling my 100-year old basement to create 5 functional and beautiful rooms. There were challenges with an historic cottage and they persevered with creativity, reliability and high standards.

My wife and I wanted to add a bathroom upstairs in our lake cottage that was built in 1900. We had several other companies come out to take a look at it but they all were afraid of the project. When Ed come out he totally understood what we wanted to accomplish and instantly started working the project out in his head. From the moment we met Ed we were totally confident that he would meet our expectations - in fact he exceeded them. He was on top of the project every step of the way from design ideas, engineering, approval from the village, etc. He is absolutely the best contractor that we have ever used and would not hesitate to use him again. We refer him to others all the time.

Meeting Ed was one of the most fortunate things that has happened to me. To start with I had a general worry about builders in general. Many of my friends have had bad experiences with builders who have taken much longer than projected and worse yet gone far over budget. Thankfully, with Ed and Island Pointe this was not the case in fact we were under budget and have a much nicer home than envisioned when we drew the plans. Ed’s suggestions and additions are things you don’t get with other builders. I would highly recommend him for any project.
