We have had one of Pete's homes for over 25 years. He stands behind his product completely. We have used his people and recommendations several times over the years. We are presently using his recommendations to remodel our kitchens. I doubt you can find a more qualified builder or quality product.

My husband and I have had the privelege of building our custom home with Kings court and are grateful for having a trustworthy builder who made the process flawless. It was our pleasure to work with Pete and his team. Pete is an honest and upright builder who assured that his client’s expectations are met. They adhered to the schedule and the attention to detail/workmanship is unmatched. The two year warranty is a bonus and reflects the integrity of their work. If we ever decide to build again I would without hesitation pick Kings Court!

Building a house is a large commitment for both the buyer and the builder. It takes time and patience from both parties to help the process move along smoothly and for the house to turn out as envisioned. We are happy to state that working with Pete and his team at Kings Court Builders (KCB) was a pleasant, smooth and productive experience, and that the final product – our house – exceeded our expectations. Ours was a custom home and Pete got involved early – even before we had a signed an agreement with KCB. He assessed the suitability of the tear-down property we were going to buy and made quick notes regarding the topology, orientation, etc. He interacted with us from his initial sketches to final drawings (often working overnight), always seeking our input to shape the outcome. Some other builders had asked us to start with their standard plans and refused to build on a narrow lot like ours. Pete knew from the get-go that we were starting with a clean sheet of paper. In the end, our house that was built on a narrow lot turned out to be spacious and a pleasure to live in! After signing the construction agreement, we worked with Courtney on material options and selection. The process that has often been described as daunting was in fact a lot of fun. Courtney was very easy to work with - always pleasant and patient with us. Her 3-D visualizations were very insightful too. She visited our old house to view our furniture and showed us where they would go on the plan for our new house. The suppliers to KCB had an adequate choice of materials which made it easier for us to pick colors, designs and products that we liked. Courtney helped us make the best color matches – for example, between the brick façade, roof shingles, windows and garage door, sometimes bringing in Linda for a second opinion. Chris (who has moved on in her career) helped double check our change orders to make sure nothing was duplicated. Once construction was complete, Frank gave us a walkthrough that was through and encyclopedic. All the product and appliance manuals were safely left where we could find them. Ken has coordinated all warranty service with courtesy and promptness after we moved in. All-in-all our experience with KCB has been a positive and productive one and we would highly recommend them!

I would highly recommend King's Court Builders to anybody planning to build their dream home. The house turned out to be better than I had envisioned and we received continuous support from King's Court from beginning till the very end. It was an awesome journey that we will cherish for a long time. Three Cheers for King's Court Builders!!

We are so glad our realtor referred us to Kings Court Builders. Right from our first meeting with Pete, me any my wife both felt like we were at the right place. Based on our needs and wishlist for a new home, Pete came up with drawings by the next meeting and it was right on the mark. It's like Pete knew what we really wanted, and we loved the floor plan and elevation. Regarding Financng which was our next hurdle, we wanted time to sell our town home and make room for our down payment. Pete accomodated our request without any hesitation, and was flexible and open about the whole process. We really appreciated their kind gesture! Courtney and Linda were our point of contacts once the house was under construction. They both were very professional, friendly, patient and easy to work with. They never said 'no' to changes which we kept making from time to time. They also helped us pick the various exterior and interior options. We really appreciate their inputs and time, which helped us get through the journey without much stress. In spite of some minor delays, they were able to deliver our house just in time and most importanly without any compromise in quality. Overall we are very pleased with our experience with Kings court builders. We love our new home and It's beyond our expectations. WOW - Their staff is impeccable - from Pete, Linda, Frank, Courtney, Crystal and the many contractors that worked on our home - they were professional, trustworthy, reliable, pleasant and very qualified at their traits. We began digging in early February and closed at the end of July, on the EXACT date promised! Deadlines were met, promises were kept, and situations that came up were easily and quickly resolved! We looked forward to our many meetings with all of the KC staff- they not only were professional but very enjoyable to work with and became quick friends! The KC Superintendent, Frank went above and beyond for us and we learned so much from him during our build! What an awesome experience! We hired the King’s Court team after 2 years of extensive searching for the right builder to build the home we’ve always wanted but couldn’t find in existing construction. We met with several builders, but when we met with Pete Stefani, we knew our search was over. We were impressed on house prepared Pete was at our first meeting. He took the time to listen to our requirements before we met in person and had a rough floor plan already made when we met. We made a few minor changes and then sent it to the architect for final drawings. Our new home consultant, Linda was so helpful with all the details of the selection process and guided us through every step, giving recommendations when needed. We have heard from others what a nightmare building a home could be, but our experience was quite different. Everyone at King’s Court, from Chris at the main office, Frank our building superintendent and Dave our point of contact for everything after closing and all the vendors and subcontractors involved, have all been the most pleasant and caring people. They really treat you like family and how they would want to be treated. It is no wonder why King’s Court has stood the test of time through all the ups and downs in the real estate market. You can tell the difference in quality and attention to detail that they put into our home. Needless to say, if we had to do it all over again we would pick King’s Court to build our home.

Early in 2017, we purchased a beautiful lot with an existing home on it with the intention of tearing it down and building our dream home. We did our due diligence and visited several other builders’ model homes and met with different designers, but after working with Pete Stefani, we were sold. When we finally reached our “end-product” Pete presented us with an extremely detailed budgetary estimate. Everything was considered, from estimated permitting fees to potential asbestos abatement on the existing home which was to be torn down. There were no surprises or hidden cost, at least from what we could see. The selection process of features was outlined and easy to follow. King’s Court utilizes the web-based Buildertrend portal which guided us through which selections we still needed to make and updated it after every meeting so we could easily review them and have access to everything when meeting with other vendors. Every time we would make a selection, we would approve and process change orders for additions or receive credits back, making it easy to track the budget. While there are so many stories we can tell about how wonderful this process was, one really stands out to show why King’s Court is such a fantastic builder. Before the roof was totally completed and the electricity was turned on, there was a heavy fall rain. We stopped by the home on a Saturday and saw over a foot of standing water in the basement. We called Pete right away, concerned about the potential of mold and rot. Pete didn’t give us the “well, this is normal” line. His team pumped the basement totally dry, finished up the roof, got the sump pumps hooked up on a generator, and—at his own cost—hired a mold testing service to test the basement and confirm there was nothing to worry about. We received a certificate of authenticity that everything was clean and clear! What a great piece of mind for us and our two small children. Frank and Dave addressed everything we identified during our final walkthrough and while there were a few vendors whose feet were held to the fire a bit, we closed on our home and were so unbelievably happy with how everything turned out. All in all, we can’t recommend King’s Court enough. We aren’t the easiest people to work with, as we expect a lot for what we were paying. And on that end, Pete and his team really delivered for us. We could not have been more impressed with the quality of work and dedication the Kings Court team put into our home. We were first time builders, and they made the process extremely easy and offered guidance throughout the whole process. If were ever need to move or decide to build again, the choice is simple!
