Kyle and Jana Johns designed and built the custom home of our dreams! Professionally, they have a deep knowledge of every aspect of the building process, which they used to ensure the absolute BEST/ top quality outcome from beginning to end. Their use of said knowledge and experience, along with intuitive design, a hands-on approach (Kyle was on site almost every day!), superior communication skills, high expectations of high end, top quality workers, trustworthiness and strong interpersonal skills, ensured they exceeded all of our expectations. From beginning to finish, Kyle and Jana made home building a wonderful experience. We would recommend KJHomes without reservation to anyone who has a dream of building their perfect home! Kyle did an amazing job on our porch extension and firepit. His attention to detail and desire to make us happy was above anything I could have asked for in this process. I consider myself perfectionist and expect the same from anyone I hire do to a job. His subs are friendly and respected our property, privacy, and time. We love our KJ Home! Jana helped us create the custom floor plans exactly the way we envisioned them. Kyle was very detail oriented throughout the whole build process and was also very open with us on what things would cost which helped us make decisions on what we wanted in our home. He let us do some of our own work like creating all the metal work and even helped us install the antique beams in the living room. We have been in our home close to a year and they continue to keep in contact with us and stand behind their product. One of the main reasons that we decided to choose KJ Homes for our build was that they only do a select number of homes a year, guaranteeing that your project is a top priority for them. Kyle was at the house everyday checking on the contractors and making sure everything was to his level of satisfaction. He is very picky about what goes into his homes and has some amazing contractors that work the same way! If you are looking for a truly custom home then you need KJ Homes to build it! Some people might not want to be as hands on as we were during the building process, but you will have a high quality product either way when you work with Kyle and Jana! We had an amazing experience and love the final product!

Kyle Johns built our home in 2006 in Tyler. He is a wonderful builder and easy to work with. He was always available when we needed him. He was willing to make any changes we wanted even if we made changes multiple times. Kyle is very professional and stands behind his work. The home he built for us was of top quality and the attention to detail would be hard to exceed. Both Kyle and Jana were both very friendly and my husband and I really enjoyed working with them. We built a home with KJ Homes back in 2007. If you've ever built a home or have heard of anyone building a home the first thing you hear about is the stress. With Kyle and Jana that was not the case. From the design stage all the way through to closing Kyle and Jana were always at our side. Kyle kept us well informed of our budget through out the project with a very detailed expense sheet that was emailed to us on a weekly basis. If any questions or concerns came about we knew Kyle was always a phone call away no matter what time of the day or night. Most builders now have no hands on experience with the project but that wasn't the case with KJ Homes. Kyle spent a lot of time at the job site and with his experience, knowledge, and skills helped in building us a retaining wall himself to keep costs down. This home was recently sold and was very profitable. We thank KJ Homes for building us a beautiful home and building it under fair market value. Just an all around great experience.

Our first project was a custom home that was built with a lot of detail and character. Years later we needed a larger home for the family so we moved. We hired Kyle and Jana to design and build additional outdoor areas to a home that was already built. He and Jana are there to help you with every decision and they really make the building process fun and enjoyable. Kyle truly builds a beautiful house while paying close attention to the homeowners wants and needs. Their customer serves is one of their main focus' and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a custom home.

Kyle Johns is an amazing builder. We have worked with him over the past several years on many home renovation projects. The largest was a master bathroom remodel. He is always extremely professional and very involved with each step of the process. When problems or concerns would arise, Kyle was quick to let us step back and reassess. He always wanted us to be happy with the outcome even it that meant a delay. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure to keep his clients informed of the equipment and products installed. After the project was completed, if questions or concerns arose, Kyle was always prompt and courteous with his response. He was quick to answer our questions and resolve the issue. Kyle also recognized a structural problem with our garage and was extremely helpful in getting the situation resolved before it became a much bigger issue. He is a very sound builder and does not believe in cutting corners. His education and degreed background in home construction means you can count on a job well done. We used KJ Homes to complete the following: Backyard pergola Convert a closet to a temperature controlled wine cellar Master bathroom remodel including a steam shower Fixing a structural support issue on the garage Replace double basin kitchen sink with a single basin Build cabinet pedestal for laundry room Add stairway lighting We love our new bathroom and most of all - the steam shower!!!

Kyle Johns built our custom home in 2008 and he did a fantastic job! Kyle is an exceptional builder and did his best to meet our requests in all circumstances. He was always present on the job site and sought to make the best decisions possible in regards to quality of construction. The most impressive thing about Kyle was that he was always available when a problem arose. About midnight one evening a pipe burst in the master bath. We called Kyle and he immediately came over. He didn't leave until the repair was completed. It is very hard to find a builder who will show up at your house in the middle of the night to help when there is a problem. He was also very professional and at the same time took a personal interest in our family. Kyle is a trustworthy and honest man. I would give him my highest recommendation both as a builder and a gentleman.

My wife and I have lived in two different homes designed and built by Kyle. The first home is in the Stonegate community in Tyler and was a beautiful 5,600+ sq ft home. Kyle built a very high quality home that we enjoyed for five years. Our second downsized home was built when we became empty nesters and is 2,800 sq ft in Lindale. Kyle and Jana were a pleasure to work with from the initial design stage through construction. Building a home can be stressful but having a great team like KJ Homes makes it a fun and exciting experience. Kyle has a great team that cares about your home and want you to be happy, he really defines friendly and professional customer service and stands behind his quality built homes. KJ homes helped design and construct our home for us last year and the experience was great! After getting a few bids from other local contractors we decided to go with Kyle and Jana. They made the entire process very pleasant and explained every single step. Kyle was always on the job site and eager to answer any questions we had and he was available 24/7 by phone or email. Kyle also did an awesome job keeping track of our budget and actually saved us money along the way without compromising quality. We are approaching the one year mark in our new home and have been very pleased.

Kyle and Jana built our dream home for us! We expected the best and definitely got the best! Kyle provides a concierge service for his clients. His attention to detail is outstanding. We felt as if he built our house the same way he would build his very own home. He was on the job site everyday and was readily available to answer questions. Whenever we called him, he called back right away. Whenever we had a concern, he addressed it. When you chose Kyle to build your home, you talk directly to him, not his support staff. Again, concierge service! We knew Kyle was building other homes as he was building our home, but we felt as if we were the only project he was working on. We love our dream home and won't be moving anytime soon, but if we decide to build again, Kyle is the first phone call!!!!
