Legacy Builders NRV, Inc was the fourth builder we met when we began our new home build upon moving to a new location, a new state. The prior three builders talked to us, listened to us but just ended up showing us what only they could build, not what we wanted them to build for us. Moving from a very large southern city and flat state to a beautiful view of the New River with surrounding mountains and valleys we feel gratitude everyday we awake to the sunrise shining through our oversized windows, across a gorgeous very unique eight species wood flooring, walk into the kitchen that has taller counter and cabinets just for us since we are tall. We have one floor living without a thing we can think of as wasteful or lacking. New for us being from Texas is a finished walkout basement but so grateful of Nancy's recommendations to turn this into a useful, fun, entertaining space that encourages us to enjoy every part of our home year round. We had a design in mind on a piece of paper, you know that "idea on a napkin" we carry around to grow into the great idea some day? Well that is exactly what Nancy and Jerry were able to do for us, change that idea into our dream home. We have been in our home just about two years loving ever aspect of the location, design and being truly custom. We were involved in every aspect of decision making. Not just the napkin scribble turned into a real design on a computer, but the heights, widths, shapes, colors, textures, all came from our hearts to their hands back to us in as a real home not just a house. Legacy Builders NRV, Inc knows how to build homes, great homes, quality homes. But they also know how to build a relationship with their clients. It is as if they can read into their client's ability and desires on how involved in every aspect of the building process. Do you want to pick from every single exterior option or would it best to have a narrowed down list as to not be overwhelmed? I could go on and on, bottom line just give them a call. You will not find more qualified builders anywhere. The pride they took each day way amazing! They truly care about not only the home they are building, but also for the people that they are building it for! Building a home with Nancy and Jerry was truly a wonderful experience!

Having previously built 4 other houses, we were a little hesitant about going through what had been a very stressful process in the past. Nancy made it easy and we ended up with a beautiful custom home on price and schedule without any hassle or drama.

We used Legacy Builders for a renovation of our family room and a new outdoor screened in porch. We could not have been happier with the project. Nancy and Jerry are a dream team to work with. Nancy has great ideas and the planning and design was fun. Jerry is the "hands on" guy and he and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time and worked the entire day. Our family room was transformed from the worst room in the house to the best. Our screened in porch completely changed our family. We love having meals on the porch and lingering afterwards. Imagine - two teenage boys who didn't rush away from dinner and no bugs!! My husband has even confiscated the porch as his office because he loves it so much. I think one story during our renovation sums it up. I had chosen the floor boards for the porch and after they were delivered to our homeI saw a display at the hardwood store of the floor boards after several years exposed to the weather. I did not like the color of the boards and when I mentioned it to Nancy, she immediately called the company and had them replaced with my new choice of color. There was no issue with Nancy - she just made it happen - and without any extra fees! We love our two new rooms. If I had to say anything negative it would have to be that once the economy picked up Legacy Builders were once again in high demand and I wasn't able to hire them for our next renovation of two bathrooms as they were completely booked! If you can secure Legacy Builders you will be very happy.

Legacy Builders is just the best!! We never had problem one with anything during or after our home was built. Date of completion was before promised, and under budget, and we had everything we wanted and more. In 2010, we remodeled a part of our basement, putting in a wet bar, and as with the rest of the home, it was very professionally and beautifully remodeled, also coming in under budget. We would hire them again with no second thoughts. We have also recommended Legacy Builders to other friends and acquaintances. The owners--the best people to work with without a doubt!!!

They are AWESOME to work with. Quality work, great ideas and the finishing touches are fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a solid. well built home.
