My review is simple - Legacy Construction is the best builder I've ever encountered, hands down. They have decades of experience with a deep network of skilled subcontractors that can build anything. Tom and Chris are top level professionals, with a refined system in place. They take pride in "doing things right" and meeting their clients' needs and expectations, always with quality craftsmanship. Thorough planning is one of their many strengths and it shows. They are also highly flexible and reliable. They recently built a home for me - from scratch, through planning, design, permitting and construction - and I cannot say enough good things about the work they did. Hiring them is the best decision you can make!

Their work on our house has won multiple awards. They researched the pros and cons of every choice we considered, and provided us with the information to make the choices that were right for us. They are a quality company with knowledgeable staff and are very responsive to any questions that arise over the course of the project. When I return at the end of the projects to show our mutual client how to use the alarm system, I always ask how their project went overall. All comments have been positive.

Chris and his team have provided timely, efficient service and construction for me on a number of occasions. Their work is performed efficiently and cleanly and most important, when a problem after the completion of the job arises they are always there to make the necessary corrections. I've known them for years and will continue to use them anytime I need work done at the house. Chris built the house years ago and most recently renovated the entire master bath and surrounding area. I think so much of him that we have on occasion discussed forming a joint venture to build homes in the Armonk area. This is a quality firm and highly recommended.

There are not words sufficient enough to describe the level of work, integrity, accuracy, caring, and expertise used for this job- it was out of state, and fraught with difficulty. There is nothing that stopped Legacy from giving me the home of my dreams. Obstacles were the norm, the area in which I was doing a huge renovation had strict codes and difficulties that outweighed anything expected . Yet Legacy persevered, regardless. They gave me comfort in knowing they were always on top of even the most difficult situation. In the end I was absolutely blown away by their perseverance and professionalism. I cannot even imagine a team that I would recommend more.

And Legacy's resources, skills, contacts, and reliability have been beyond any reasonable expectations. We would not hestitate to contract with Tom and Legacy again, (although we hope we are done for a while.)

After many years and multiple renovation projects with "decent" contractors, my husband and I had one last but large project to complete. We decided we needed/wanted a more qualified, experienced, and professional team than those used for prior work. A friend highly recommended Legacy after a similar large job at their home. I cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience. Professional, reasonable, meticulous, and on time (which was stunning as we added on to the original project after the construction actually began). The entire team was professional, from the office support, to the Manager of our project, to the subs they hired for the many needs we had. They were able to advise us and recommend changes that we would not have thought of. Every person who worked on the project was respectful of our family and our home. Everyday, the work was cleaned up to the best of their ability. As you can read, my husband and I had nothing but a great experience and continue to call on them for even small things.

Legacy's knowledge and resource are endless, and the quality of their workmanship is incredible. Further more, they are truly honest and extremely professional. We are extremely picky when it comes to quality and aesthetics, but we are beyond happy with every work Legacy did for us. They did the entire renovation of our apartment and both inside and outside of our Hamton house and many custom made furniture. We will not consider any other contractor after the wonderful experience and results with Legacy.

We have used Legacy for 2 renovations. One in our NYC apartment and this latest renovation for our house in Ct. Legacy Construction is extremely organized and stayed on top of a very challenging job. We had to raise our house after the hurricane and rebuild most of the first floor and put in a new foundation. They are high end and extremely professional.

When entering into any construction project you hear horror stories about dealing with contractors. Legacy, and especially our Project Manager, made the process simple and worry free. We had no issues whatsoever. The craftsmanship has been superb. All minor annoyances have been just that, minor annoyances and Legacy has stood behind their work and corrected any normal problems. It's too bad we don't have more rooms in our house to have them build out!

We renovated a 3,000 sf apartment in a high rise building. Legacy was responsible for the construction and provided an onsite supervisor. They were outstanding and worked well with us, our designers and the audio video group. They were excellent at problem solving and follow through. We were very pleased with the finished project.

Responsive, professional, and trustworthy certainly would describe my experience with the legacy team. Driveway gate installation, pool fence installation, kitchen remodel, carpentry and mill work, masonry work, audio video install, electrical work, plumbing, driveway pavement, tile and marble , bathroom remodel........creative yet practical, the legacy team was up for every task and always had a plan and solution for any challenge that arose. Chris at Legacy Construction is the ultimate professional in the design and construction industry. I have had the opportunity to work with Chris on a number of jobs. His company is tops in it's field. He can provide a complete design and construction package and his work is outstanding. His jobs come in on time and most important on budget. If there ever is an issue with any of his work, he is right there to take care of it, even when it is not his responsibility. So we have some context when we say that the Legacy team is overwhelmingly the best with whom we have ever worked. Knowledgeable about every element of the project, imaginative when encountering unanticipated "field conditions", respected by all of their subcontractors and by our architect, always searching for more cost effective solutions, they are very special. And with absolute, unquestionable integrity in everything they do. They have worked within budgets and use transparent software to track and forecast costs. Legacy and Chris's team did a great job with our renovation. Our job was significant including a complete update on all electrical, HVAC, plumbing, windows, bathrooms and with the addition of a new kitchen and modern spaces to an older home. Their attention to detail in the work and responsiveness throughout the project was appreciated. They had a daily foreman who was always available to discuss the work and options. They worked well with us to be respectful of our budget but were also always willing to discuss alternatives and new ideas. Overall we were extremely pleased with the final work.
