John Davidson is not a good person He's a liar and a high pressure salesman. he took our money didn't deliver anything on the contract and then refused to negotiate a refund. do not do business with him you will regret it.

My boyfriend and I never dreamed of building a house. We never thought that we would want the headache or the stress involved in it. We had initially been looking at completed houses to purchase but then we came across a piece of property that we couldn't say no to. (Though we tried, because we didn't want to build a house!) We knew that if we were going to build a house that we needed it to be turnkey, because we certainly were not cut out to GC our own project! We spoke with several builders but from our first conversation Jonathan made us feel like what we wanted to do was possible and that we weren't going to go crazy doing it either! Jonathan and Carol are some of the best people we have worked with on this journey thus far! They are responsive, fair and go way above and beyond what we would expect any builder to do. You can tell that they genuinely love what they do and take pride in it and they want their customers to be love with where they come home to for years! My boyfriend already said "I would build a house with them again!"

When we began our process into looking to add an addition to our home we interviewed many builders, when we came across LI Builders I did my research and was pleased with the knowledge and quality of work that we were shown. They make it their business to work with you so your project can be exactly what you want.

Staying within a tight budget, LI Modular adapted a traditional architectural blueprint for modular construction. Once permits were obtained, the foundation was completed in a week and the house arrived a week afterward and was assembled in one day, including the roof that unfolded and framed in an hour! It was nothing short of miraculous see. When I looked inside the house, it exceeded my expectations, both in the spaciousness of the rooms and in the quality of construction. From delivery, there is another 90 days to completion, including plumbing and electrical hookups, siding and stairs. I am not there yet, but I can hardly wait to be in my modular home that Evan is building.

Very honest and responsive. Evan is very personable, Carol in the office is very friendly and helpful, and Pete and Doc who run the projects are the most honest, caring individuals who treat your home like it is their own!

Would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option. We love our new home and so does everyone else who has come to see it. We chose this company on the recommendation of a neighbor and have not been disappointed. No-nonsense, straightforward and practical all the way through. Evan helped us design our own home and in the end managed to get us everything we wanted. No sales pressure. Realistic and honest all the way. Happy to provide extras and custom work, at our request, not at his insistence. The different crews that did finish work once the house was set were professional, courteous, and empathetic. A friend that does building inspections couldn't put his camera away. He said the heating system installation was the best he's ever seen. Our project came in under budget (Have you ever heard that before?!?) but did take longer than we would have liked. Of course the winter we had didn't help. Every one of the inevitable problems that come up during a construction were resolved to our satisfaction without the slightest hesitation. Evan was available and helpful throughout the process, as were the site foremen. Calls and emails were always returned promptly, no matter what the issue. In particular, Carol, the office manager is nothing short of superb. The real acid test - If I had it all to do over again, would I choose the same company? Yes. Without hesitation.

Evan, Jon and Carol at LIModular have been great to work with. We made the difficult decision to raze our Sandy damaged home and replace it with a new modular house. While our project is still in progress, the process so far has been trying. The municipal hurdles for permits and such have been unbelievable.. More than once, we have been ready to give up and walk away from our home.. Evan was always there to help us jump the hurdles and continue. He was the voice of calm and reason when we were loosing ours. Our house is in place and the finishing is taking awhile, but Evan has been there whenever we had a question or problem. I am sure that the rest of the work will soon be completed and we will be back in our home.. Evan's professional, knowledgeable, patient and calm help has made all the difference

They were very helpful in keeping within our budget and addressing any issues that came up along the way. The house was set in the beginning of June and had a party in it by Labor Day. They stand by their work even after living in the house for almost 11 months, there was a factory malfunction with the heating unit and came immediately to help get it resolved. LI Modular is my second modular home company I have used in 7 years. I would use them again!
